We should have been informed by Holiday Inn that there were major renovations being done. Had we known, we certainly would not have stayed there. It seems unethical that management would hide this information from potential guests.
The halls smelled of smoke and the construction workers used the same elevators as the guests, so they were also smoky and dirty. Our fire alarm in our room went off twice because they were testing it, but didn't tell us ahead of time. Overall a bad experience.
One positive...the mattresses were comfortable.

Hotel is under renovation, 3rd floor is complete but now has the new "glue" odor. Rooms are nice but I wonder why they installed such a large dresser unit that includes a section for refrigerator when they have the refrigerator and coffee unit in a different area. Seems to close the room in to me taking up space.
