Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and clean We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn. Our son has cancer so room cleanliness is important to us. The staff was very friendly and competent. I forgot to pack shampoo so I used the little hotel bottles and even that was great (and I have long hair)! We were sad that we didn't have more time to hang out by the pool. We will definitely come back here again. February 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Fast Check-in Process Room are a large size. Location is good and close to a variety of box stores. Customer service by hotel was excellent. Restaurant had good food. Only poor service was at the Spa with is located inside by the lobby. I believe their inappropriate. February 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No king bed We stayed here as part of a group so I understand that the rooms were not ready all at once. Although when I told the front desk person that my room will go on my card he did not acknowledge my status, I didn't get free water or anything. He didn't point out any amenities and I didn't get free breakfast. We didn't get a king room although we ordered one. When we went to the room the hallway was dirty and there were several trays standing around( room service). February 21, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noise levels bad Was assigned an adjoining room and the occupant of the next room had the television on loud until approximately 1Am and then again at 6 AM. The doors did nothing to muffle the sound. Like the hotel but worst stay so far. January 8, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Storage Room Overall experience would have been 8 out of 10 (for Grande Prairie) but I was put next to the storage room on the second floor & one of the staff was instructed to clean, organize & stack extra chairs. I guess being caught up in his job he didn't realize I was sleeping (trying) on the other side of the wall. He may never forget seeing me in my underwear asking him to please be quiet!! After a tough night of sleep - 2nd night the hotel was hosting several Christmas parties until the wee hours. Finally got to sleep & first thing in the morning a couple cleaning gals were having their "safety meeting" outside my door as it was next to the storage room. Late to sleep & up early again, thought I was paying to sleep at a hotel? (not the end result) Moral of the story - ask NOT to be near ANY staff room or storage room & ask if they are hosting Christmas parties, hockey tournaments or anything else. IF SO, go elsewhere!! Other than not sleeping this appeared to be an excellent hotel. December 30, 2013

The location is fantastic, the service is excellent , and the Restaurant has superb food and service. Every stay is like a mini vacation. December 26, 2013
