Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing stay in Great Falls We were welcomed by Scott at the front desk, friendly and nice. I found out from a couple that we were traveling with that they had received free drink coupons, so I went back to the desk to get ours, and Michael told us they didn't have any today. We could not get service in the restaurant, waited 15 minutes with empty coffee cups and menus, finally left and went elsewhere for breakfast. The day before, we waited so long for our breakfast that we saw people come in, eat and leave before we got our food. The hotel was booked solid for the entire weekend for the rodeo finals, but they did not increase the staff, making for some long waits. The lobby and elevators were dirty the whole time we were there, as they did not have the staff to keep up with cleaning. All in all, not a very satisfactory stay. January 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by double room occupancy issue Upon arrival we were given our room key, second floor, and upon entry to the room there were other people already checked into the room. I went back down to the front desk and was given a new room on floor five. We went all the way back up to floor give and neither of our room keys worked so we had to go back down and get new keys. Having to do all of this with an infant is very inconvenient. January 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and fun in the swimming pool. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room was on the second floor overlooking the pool. I was staying at the hotel with my 3 and 5 year old grandsons. We enjoyed the pool area and waterslide. We went back to our room, and I ordered room service. I was told our order would be delivered in about 25 minutes. Forty minutes later I called back and was told that the girl who took our order had just stepped into the restroom, and the staff who answered the phone would have her call us immediately. I didn't get a call back. I sent an adult down to the restaurant to check on the status of our order. Only at that point did the restaurant staff call me back to tell me that our order had been lost by the cooks, that it was very busy, and that there were not enough cooks working for the amount of customers they had. The adult I sent down to check on our order said that the restaurant was not busy at all. I was told that our order would take at least another 25 minutes. This would put the time at past 8pm for a 3 and 5 year old to have something to eat for dinner. I was very upset. We did get our order as promised, and the restaurant comped the meal. In general, our experience at Holiday Inn was a good one. I'm not sure what happened at the restaurant that evening. I would come back and stay again but probably would not order room service again.
