Absolutely gorgeous property. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very nice when checking in. It was really nice and quiet as well. It was nice to stay in a hotel where there aren't children or drunken adults running up and down the hallways! It pays to stay at a nicer hotel that's for sure! Took in the hot tub and pool the night we stayed, a little on the small side but went in later at night and only a family of 4 were in there with us so it was nice and there was plenty of room for all of us. As far as the room goes, our room, double queen suite was excellent. Super clean when we arrived. Beds were VERY comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. Slept excellent and enjoyed our time in Green Bay at the Holiday Inn and Suites! Looking forward to our next stay here!

A great staff and crew make this hotel very easy and relaxing to stay at. The location is premium and will directly off a bus line or close to restaurants and the main drag.
There is recognition for being a rewards member (plinko-themed game for extra free points).
The rooms are well kept and have up-to-date amenities (including mini fridges).
My only complaint is that the breakfast wait staff is chronically slow. I will sit 10 minutes before being approached for my drink order. 10 minutes later the drink comes out and I get my breakfast order in. The food is great so I bear it -- but beware if you have morning plans/meetings to go to!
Overall, I would highly recommend.

And truth is, I can't fault it, stayed here several times for work and also for pleasure and it has always been great. I am headed there again later this week and I know all will be great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by CarrieRG Worst food I have ever eaten at a hotel
I stayed at the Green Bay Holiday Inn this past weekend with my two young boys and husband.
The room was pretty nice except for the fresh ketchup stains on the sheets. Fresh, as in I was able to easily lighten them with a wet wipe, indicating to me that we may have been just a few of the many who used those sheets since their last washing.
Other than the sheets, the room was moderately clean, but not as clean as it should have been.
The worst part of the stay was the food, though. My husband and I ordered room service the evening we arrived. We both ordered cheesesteak sandwiches with au jus and soup and the kids had macaroni and cheese with French fries.
The sandwiches were overcooked, greasy messes. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the meat had been originally cooked several days before and been kept under a heat lamp until it was served for our dinner. The au jus was easily half grease and tasted nothing like beef.
I also had chili, which the menu said was "house recipe". House recipe must be code for greasy, grainy ground beef, a half dozen kidney beans and weak tomato soup. My husband had the Wisconsin cheese soup. I wish I could have figured out what that odd flavor was, because it definitely was not cheese... but maybe I am better off not knowing.
The kids meals were clearly either an off, off brand of Kraft Mac and Cheese, or were prepared by someone who has not yet learned a skill in which every teenager in America is an expert.
We were all so hungry that we ate as much of the awful food as we could bear. I was awake half the night fighting off waves of nausea from my dinner.
The absolute worst, though, was the breakfast we had in the hotel restaurant the next morning. My son was served scrambled eggs that I looked like a shriveled piece of plastic and was so thin I am sure it was cooked with a bacon press.
My husband had an omelet and hash browns and I have not seen him that grossed out by a meal in a long time. As an additional mild irritation, what sort of restaurant only provides grape jelly and orange marmalade for their patron's toast?
I ordered a fresh fruit bowl that was supposed to come with cottage cheese. When the fruit arrived, I asked our waitress where the cottage cheese was. She narrowed her eyes at me and mumbled that they had run out about a week before and she didn't think there was any, but that she would check for me. She wandered back a while later and confirmed that there was no cottage cheese. This was bad news, since the "fresh" fruit I had been served was so water logged and slimy that the only thing I could eat were a few small pieces of #obviously canned# pineapple.
Obviously the waitress knew when I initially ordered, but was either too lazy or inept to tell me that they were out of the cottage cheese.
We also had orange juice that was only identifiable as orange juice by it's color. The flavor was somewhere between aluminum and stainless steel.
The room was so-so, the service was terrible and the food was honestly the worst I have ever had. I highly recommend that you do not eat anything at this hotel. On the positive side, they did have a nice pool.

Really feel welcome and "at home." King beds are way more comfy than the queens. Good food, but slow service so adjust your schedule accordingly in the restaurant. Emily and Ashley rock the front desk with Kent as well!

Check-in was quick and courteous. We had a King suite. TV's were small and a little strange, they had Analog and Digital but not all channels were in Digital. The Analog quality left something to be desired. Matress & bedding was of average quality. Disappointed there was no breakfast.
