Our stay was great, but when we got back home, I looked at my credit card statement, and it was $50 more than it was supposed to be. I called & spoke to a gentleman whose name was either Ken or Kent. I asked him why my bill was so high, and he told me that you charge for incidentals ahead of time, to which I replied we didn't have any. He was very rude in his response back to me saying that we will be getting a credit. I told him he didn't need to be rude to me, to which he responded, "well, you were rude to me". First of all, I was not rude to him, second of all, even if I was rude to him, he is in customer service & should not respond that way. I am in customer service, & if I ever treated my customers the way that I was treated, I would not have a job!

The room was a delight. Nice quality furniture, two TV's, one in the entry room and one in the room with the bed, so if you have kids, it's easy to deal with them not monopolizing the TV, or for you to watch something after someone else is sleeping.
The only downside to the room itself was the lack of a freezer in the room. I wanted to re-freeze the packs I have that I use for the cooler to keep drinks cold. I couldn't do that here, but at least I was able to use the ice machine instead the next morning to fill the cooler.
Doors slam too loudly and hard though - we had a lot of noisy people on the floor the night we stayed, and there was a lot of loud conversation in the hall, and lots of doors slamming. Made it very difficult to finally get to sleep.
Staff was outstanding though, especially in the bar/restaurant.

After we checked in and unpacked our things in our room we found out there was construction on the hotel being done next to and above our room. When we asked about the room assignment at the desk we were told we received that room because of a request to stay away from elevator and ice machine, but we could move if we wanted to. We elected to stay because of already getting things unpacked. When we checked out we commented at the desk that it would have been better to be informed of the situation immediately rather than after going to our room. At that time we were shown an information sheet that we should have gotten at check-in about the construction work going on. We would have had a much better experience if things had been done properly.

night manager was not adequate in providing quality customer service and if the leader cannot provide quality customer service, then her staff cannot provide quality customer service. So it's no wonder our overall customer service experience with this establishment was extremely poor.

Front Desk Night personnel didnot mange/ deal with problems in the pool area. Room and dining was nice.
