Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing I often stay here for the furniture market, but this time I was disappointed in three areas. Firstly I am a platinum member and did not get my points on arrival or even offered a drink. Secondly my bathroom was dirty (room 408) and lastly I requested the shuttle pick me from Tripps restaurant, just less than 4 miles away, as arranged with the hotel receptionist. I waited for over an hour and it did not turn up and I didn't even get a return phone call. In the end I got a taxi back...why offer this service if you do not look after your customers? At first it was a disappointment as I just arrived from overseas to find the computer was done and there were difficulties checking in . The staffs were very polite and so it was ok. The room is ok but honestly it is a bit old, was hoping it is refurnished better. I am very impressed with the staff at the front desk and the restaurant. They are very patient and helpful. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unfortunately An Unclean Room I stay in hotels for my job about 10-12 nights a year. I stay about 5-8 other nights a year for leisure. I cannot every recall staying in a room that had the sanitary issues that this room did. There were curly hairs on the bathroom floor and in the tub. There was a ball of hair on the carpet by the bed and there was hair in the bed on the sheets of one bed. No, I did not report it to the hotel management mainly because I was very sick and did not want to change rooms but it was disgusting. I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express just around the correr from this Holiday Inn about a week prior and it was fantastic but I will not stay here again. I had a 4 day reservation here for July of this year but I changed it to the other hotel. Sorry to have to review this way because I am a Rewards member and like the IHG chain. April 8, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, but facility needs lots of TLC! The employees were very friendly and super helpful with directions and general information. The hotel itself is in an industrial location. The room was not clean (dust and dirt on the floor) and the condition of some of the furniture was appalling. And the remote control was held together with scotch tape! There are much better hotels located not far from this one. March 31, 2016
