The physical structure and materials are good quality but they are showing age and wear & tear. The room has "smart" automation controlled via a smart TV. However the DVD player or its wiring emitted a constant clicking sound that made it hard to get to sleep. The internet was slow. The shower drain was slow and the water pooled to ankle height. The hallway carpets were faded or dirty?
First floor room next to busy street was noisy.

stayed here for 2 days only with wife n kids and loved every minute of it. The staff at check in and out were fast and courteous. Close to center square and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again next year. Thank you.

We loved our stay in this hotel, the room was clean and spacious, the staff is commited to welcome you from the moment you walked in. Nice restaurant with a balcony. We will come back for sure.

The staff was excellent! I cannot say enough about them. They all were extremely friendly and accommodating. They shared information readily when we asked questions and gave suggestions on where to go, etc. Most excellent experience. The location is great, easy access to all downtown activities.

I usually stay at another hotel down the street but it was booked. So I tried the Holiday Inn and Suites. The employees from the front door to the front desk to the restaurant to the tech guy were amazing. The service was great and everyone responded quickly and efficiently. I loved the internet access on the flat panel tv, the remote window screens and the fact that I could access everything with a click of a button. The rooms were large and the engineered wood floors are a great touch. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. Water pressure could have been better and the carpet in the hall ways and down the stairs are a little worn but are vacuumed daily from what I saw. And the overhang that is over the front door needs some help. In the end, I will stay again when I return. I was pleasantly surprised.

There is a big problem with the standar that this kind of hotel always offers to the customers, if the hotel wants to provide snacks over other services is not the correct kind of plus that I am looking for. They need to work so hard to acomplish the standar regarding the service.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the room that we had not only reserved, and paid for in advance, was not available. The lady at the reception desk wanted to upgrade us at an extra charge. We had already paid for an upgraded suite. Then she wanted to put us in a smoking room. With allergies to cigarette smoke, that did not work. Finally we were put in a lesser room at the same price. Of course this room was on the first floor. Traffic is very noisy in this part of the city, so that was an issue. Then at 10:30 at night, jackhammers would start on the sidewalk outside of our room. They would not quit until 7 AM. We stayed for 4 nights with no sleep. The staff thought that this should not be an issue. Also the air conditioner did not work very well. It would not cool off in the room until about 4 AM.
I would mention that the bellmen were quite helpful in arranging tours and making suggestions for nice restaurants. The hotel restaurant did not care about service either. Right on the front door of the hotel, is a sign that says it is 100% no smoking. The waiters would seat us right in the middle of several tables that were smoking. The hotel has designated smoking rooms. I don't understand!!!
