Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly service My stay at the Holiday Inn, Guildford was enjoyable for a number of reasons. Everything was very clean, orderly and efficient but the thing that really stood out was the friendliness of all the staff. Walking down the corridors, all the staff (without exception) made an effort to say hello and be welcoming. I thought that was really excellent. May 27, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location We have stayed at this hotel just about every year since 1987 when it was a THF hotel. It is in a very convenient location for us however we are not business guests,we come on holiday to the UK and therefore have more luggage and clothes than guests who stay just one or two nights.There is insufficient drawer,shelf or hang-up space so we have to live "out of our suit cases" most of the time.Also,regrettably,we have seen no significant improvements in the room décor,beds,space,carpets etc in all the time we have stayed at the hotel (except perhaps in the Accademy area which is for the business community) We will most probably be back next year around Wimbledon time and will look for any improvements. The Holiday Inn at Guildford is fantastic for dining: the kitchen staff turned out excellent quality fayre and the front-of-house team were polite, professional and courteous. May 19, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Nice looking hotel in nice condition, guy at reception was nice and helpful. All staff were nice however dining staff were slightly less attentive considering the room was quiet. Barman was a bit awkward around the free drink tokens our party was given. Our room was a bit warm and the walls paper thin ensuring I had a poor nights sleep. Bathroom was ok, as was checkout. May 16, 2016
