All of my family feel so good for hotel service and breakfast.
The room condition and breakfast are so much better than american holiday inn where i visited.

I had the opportunity to spend 5 nights at the Holiday Inn in Gwangju, South Korea. From check-in to check-out, the service my family and I received was top rate. The concierge was very friendly and always offered assistance with a smile. I've stayed at a lot of hotels worldwide, and I'll have to say the staff at this Holiday Inn was one of the best. Other 4 and 5-star hotels should observe and learn.
Our room was very clean and the thermostat kept our room very comfortable. The continental breakfast was fantastic. The selection of both western and Korean food, along with a selection of juices, milk, and coffee was a very nice touch. I also had the privilege of meeting the General Manager. He was very cordial and was genuinely interested in the satisfaction of our stay.
The only complaint I have is that I was in a non-smoking room and when ever I turned on the HVAC, cigarette smoke was very strong. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but for those who are very sensitive to the smell of tobacco smoke should be aware.
I will be traveling to Gwangju again in July and I will not hesitate to stay here again.

only one detail, the price are too much expensive for the bar and lounge
the hall needs more armchairs and is a little give the feeling of a cold atmosphere

It was an excellent hotel from the top to the very bottom. Front office staffs were very kind and concierge provides accurate and great information for my free time.

I have stayed here several times and have had great experience every visit. Food and drink are top notch and the best but are expensive. The staff is beyond amazing in helping in any needs that you may have. The concierges went above and beyond looking up things and translating to our needs. Will gladly stay on my next visit which I hope is real soon!

Holiday Inn Gwangju is the best Holiday Inn property I have stayed in. Beautifully appointed rooms with immaculately clean and modern facilities. Excellent restaurant and lobby bar. I was welcomed as a Platinum PC member upon arrival and appreciated the personal service throughout my stay. A great location too.

Stayed here for two nights and loved it! The bathroom and the room were great! Found that the room service menu was a bit restrictive, but the breakfast was good.
Close to the airport and a short walk to the subway. You can also hail a taxi and it's about 15 min to the downtown area. Maybe have the staff write it for you if you don't speak Korean.
I stayed in the Holiday Inn chain many years ago and moved over to Hilton for a few years, however, I was in Gwangju to see friends and noticed a good rate on this hotel. What a real surprise! There are a couple of international hotels in Gwangju now, but HI is a welcome hotel!
Only downside is the charge for the wi-fi. I had to pay twice to use my laptop and my cellphone....bit unreasonable, but hey, it's a great hotel!
