In our non-smoking room we found quite a number of cigarette butts in the flower pot. So it seems that in this hotel non-smoking room means room without an ash-tray.
The service is extremely poor. We asked concierge to arrange a taxi one day in advance of our check-out. On the day of check-out concierge tried to get a taxi on the street for five minutes and then came back and suggested that we would try to get a taxi ourselves.

I arrived the hotel standing right in front of the counter where the display sign "Priority Club Check in".
I stood and waited, while three staff were busy chatting with another guest on one side of the counter, ignoring my presence waiting for service. Never had this kind of treatment or welcoming so cold in all these years being with Priority Club.
Until I had to call one of them to come to serve me. Why have the sign "Priority Club check in" but no one bother to serve?
When the girl came to serve me, instead of recognizing my then Gold membership (I am now Platinum), she was more interested to grab the calculator out to show me that how much the rate is on that day and wanting me to pay ???
Despite of my booking done on line months in advance and my
booking in their computer system, this girl just wanted to get my money when I was desperately waiting to get the key for my room, after a long flight. Until I had to be firm telling her that wherever I go to Holiday Inn or Intercontinental, I never need to do any payment until my departure day. Why can't she give me the key. Upon my demand for the room key, she had no choice and had to give me the room key. This is the worst ever experience with Priority Club hotel. The coldest welcome to members and the money hunger attitude from the staff.
Then I had to demand for welcome drink voucher, as I always get wherever I go to Priority Club hotels. After the first night, I realized that there was no welcoming letter to me (as member, usually I get this upon arrival) and no fruit bowl in the room.
The next morning, I stood in front of the reception desk, again all the staff were standing there with no other guest, didn't bother to serve me. Until I had to make a loud noise demanding to see the Manager. Then a lady came forward to let me know she is the Manager. I told her exactly how I was treated the day before upon my arrival, and again today; pointing out to her "Priority Club check in" sign is useless only for display but not really effective.
I told her that the way her staff treated me as Gold member, then,
was unacceptable and the hotel will be given a poor feedback.
When I told her that there's nothing to make me feel welcome as Gold member like many other Priority Club hotels, no fruit bowl, no priority check in but only demanding payment upon arrival. I didn't get any newspapers delivered to the room, like most other Priority Club hotels would do. Each day I had to go to the news stand to pick up a newspaper.
The manager was very embarrassed for what I was telling her loudly in English. She was apologetic and promised to fix the problem. Well, I must say that after returning to my room on the second day, I found a bowl of plenty of fruit and some cookies etc.
It seems the staff need to be trained how to be hospitable to all guests whether member or not member, whether Asian or Western. It's the service that makes someone wants to come back. This is the only Holiday Inn hotel in Harbin, the hotel is good but the staff attitude is the worst I have ever seen. Totally opposite to the great service from Holiday Inn and Intercontinental hotels in other countries.

酒店地理位置优越,就在景点中央大街口,吃饭购物游览都很方便,酒店内部正在装修,不过房间和大堂都有很大改善,符合假日酒店的一贯风格,酒店员工热情,替换率比较高,因此即使经常入住仍然有些不便。

酒店位于中央大街的入口处,位置超好,订的行政房,新装修的,非常满意,服务也很好,早饭种类丰富,行政酒廊也很好,只是没有游泳池,稍显遗憾,还会去住。

哈尔滨万达假日酒店处在哈尔滨的百年老街中央大街一端,交通、购物、游玩非常便捷。商务房房间内部环境不错,只是冰箱噪音有点大。房间隔音效果不错,很安静。服务员服务也很热情。早餐品种丰富,质量也不错。
