Denver is a city tailor-made for dogs and their people. After waking up at one of our Denver pet friendly hotels, start the day by exploring the Mile High City with your four-legged friend.
First, take Fido to shop for his favorite toys and home-baked treats at For the Love of Dog boutique in the suburb of Glendale, a short distance from our Denver pet friendly hotels.
Then give your pup a taste of the Wild West at Buffalo Bill’s Museum and Gravesite. Located on a spacious plot of land on Lookout Mountain, the museum allows leashed dogs to explore the outdoor exhibits with their owners. (Dogs are not allowed inside the museum.)
When hunger pangs hit, stop by Highland Tap & Burger for a bite to eat on the patio. This neighborhood restaurant is a popular spot for locals and their furry friends. Highland offers burgers and sandwiches, as well as a new health-conscious menu.
During the warmer months, catch a flick with your pooch at the 88 Drive-in Theatre, which screens two current Hollywood films at a time. Dogs are allowed in vehicles and on the site, if leashed. Visit the concessions stand for special dog treats and extra clean-up bags. Any of our Denver pet friendly hotel employees will be happy to direct you to the drive-in.
