Choose our Holiday Inn® Sarasota hotels to explore the sugar-sand beaches of the Sarasota Keys and a vibrant local art scene. Known for its pastel-hued Gulf Coast sunsets, Sarasota is a contemporary hub for restaurants, galleries and shops.
Our Sarasota hotels make it easy to explore the cultural capital of the Florida Gulf Coast. Head downtown to the seashell-shaped Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for its annual lineup of major concerts. Relax by shimmering Sarasota Bay during one of the free Van Wezel “Friday Fest on the Bay” concerts. From our hotels in Sarasota, visitors can walk among old masters like Rubens at the Ringling Museum of Art, now part of the Florida State University campus; admission is free every Monday. Grab the kids and cross the campus to the Circus Museum to see vintage calliopes and an irresistible miniature 1930s circus. Florida sunshine paints a golden patina on the gilded mansion of John and Mable Ringling, Ca d’Zan, nearby. A palatial nod to Venetian palazzos, Ca d’Zan is open for tours.
From our hotels in Sarasota you can grab a latte and browse downtown Sarasota, jam-packed with art galleries and boutiques. Stay for dinner and mingle with the locals while enjoying a burger or fresh seafood. Our Sarasota hotels are close to Palm Avenue galleries and the artists’ colony at Towles Court, where studios are open to the public. For dinner with a view, visit Old Salty Dog on City Island or Marina Jacks downtown. Enjoy affordable home-cooked meals at Yoder’s, Sarasota’s Amish-Mennonite restaurant—save room for the apple pie.
Book your room at one of our Sarasota hotels to eat your way through Restaurant Week in June, or in October to celebrate stone crab season at the Stone Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival on Longboat Key.

"Excellent hotel - Pricey but location alone worth every penny!"
This was our 5th visit to this hotel and we are already looking forward to making it 6 years in a row.
Upon check in, the staff treated us so kindly and we enjoyed 9 wonderful nights at this[More]
We were in a newly renovated room and it was very very nice. Very bright and clean. The new bathroom counters with storage underneath is a real plus as the bathrooms are not huge ones.
Having a fridge in the room without having to request one was very good.
The maids were friendly and did a great job of keeping the room clean and in a timely matter. Always well stocked with what we needed.
Some people complain about the price during certain times of the year, but the location alone is worth every penny or point spent...
The proximity to St-Armand Circle and all the shops and restaurants is a major bonus if you've spent the day on the beach with a few drinks, then you are a good citizen to not get in the car and just walk to your dinner (in 5 years, we still have not tried every restaurant there)!
LOVE LOVE this hotel! [Less]
