Charleston from the restaurant on the top floor is fabulous. The hotel is located between the north and south bound lanes of route 17 as it approaches the draw bridge to Charleston. This makes access to the hotel quite easy if a little harrowing as you merge in or out of high speed traffic. It also leads to noticeable traffic noise during the morning rush hour. So, do not expect to sleep in.
Our biggest problem was navigating to and from Charleston. The streets can be confusing, and our GPS refused to recognize that there was access to the hotel parking area from both north and southbound route 17. [Less]
