Enjoy warm Southern hospitality at one of our Holiday Inn® North Charleston hotels when you visit the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. From our North Charleston hotels, you’re never far from the fiery crackle of an oyster roast or a horse-drawn carriage ride.
Our hotels in North Charleston, South Carolina, provide easy access to the cobblestoned streets of Charleston to the south and Low Country plantations to the east. From your room in our North Charleston hotels, you’re also close to the harbor ruins of Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War rang out. After the Civil War, residents were “too poor to paint and too proud to whitewash,” leaving intact a remarkably preserved historic district. Travel back to the languid days of the Old South from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage. Head outside the city to Boone Hall Plantation, where you can amble along the Avenue of Oaks, a moss-draped cathedral of trees. Kids enjoy pirate games on the trading ship “Adventure” at the 660-acre Charles Towne Landing park, site of the 1670 settlement that grew into the city you see today.
At our North Charleston hotels you’re never far from the sensory pleasures of Charleston. Sample creamy she-crab soup, finished with a drizzle of sherry. You don’t have to eat fancy to eat well here; the city has lots of friendly, affordable oyster bars and seafood shacks. Bargain hunters can head out from our North Charleston hotels to the city’s shopping outlets, including nearby Tanger Outlet Center. Big-name musical acts and Broadway shows light up the stage at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Book a stay at our North Charleston hotels to experience the antebellum splendor of Historic Charleston and the simple but sublime pleasures of the Low Country.

Overall this hotel was a good place to stay for what I needed it for. Although I would've liked a more comfortable pool area, everything else was good. The fitness center is small but still has a few[More]
different options for working out (equipment, mats, weights, etc). The room itself was very clean and neat, the furniture well taken care of. The bathroom was a little cramped, other than that it was clean and fine. [Less]
Very clean and comfortable. Pool area was cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel. Hotel staff was attentive to any needs. Hot breakfast was nice...but would have loved to have bacon offered at all times.[More]
There was always sausage! Drawer space in room was very limited, but would probably be fine for most single, business travelers. Very rough floor of pool...my son's toes were bleeding and we had to cut pool time short! Kind of cold for an indoor pool, too, but it was still our favorite area! Overall, we'd definitely revisit!
