Dallas is home to the Cowboys, mega shopping malls, TexMex cuisine and the original Six Flags amusement park. Guests of our Holiday Inn® Dallas hotels will find there’s a little something for everyone in the Big D.
Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington form a sprawling metropolitan area in North Central Texas, but don’t let its size overwhelm you. There is plenty to do and see within the city limits, and our hotels in Dallas are ideally situated near major attractions and public transportation lines. Check out the popular museums of the Dallas Arts District or indulge in some retail therapy at the Neiman Marcus flagship store. Hit up the attractions of the popular West End. There’s the Sixth Floor Museum (a museum dedicated to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy), the House of Blues Dallas and the Dallas World Aquarium. Finish up with dinner and drinks in trendy Deep Ellum, where you can catch performances by local bands, as well as legendary jazz and blues acts.
Sports are a big part of Texas culture too, and depending on when you book your Dallas hotel stay, you can watch the Mavericks rule the court at the American Airlines Center or the Cowboys play in their new Arlington stadium. Arlington is also home to popular amusement parks, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor – if you’re staying at one of our Dallas hotels in the summer, beat the Texas heat and keep the kids entertained with a trip to this colossal water park.
Book your stay at one of our Holiday Inn Dallas hotels and enjoy a Texas-sized slice of southern hospitality and charm.
Every staff member with whom we came in contact was polite, friendly, enthusiastic and respectful. The male breakfast attendant on Sat. 5/16 was a true example of exemplary customer service. He was[More]
extremely friendly and attentive to all customers. There was a plethora of breakfast options from which to choose.
The room was spotless. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. That is not always the case. We could not hear any noise outside of our room, on the third floor.
My only criticism would be, and I am nitpicking here, that a better quality of toilet paper might be nice. It was institutional. I'm thinking Charmin might be a better option. :)
Overall, we had a relaxed and comfortable stay. We had to cancel the planned second night stay and that was accomplished with ease and understanding.
I would not hesitate to return here or to refer it to others. [Less]
I was traveling on business and drove in from out of town. I had been traveling for 2 days doing business and was exhausted. I reached the hotel at around 12:30pm (much earlier than I expected). I[More]
walked in just knowing that my room would not be ready because of the the time. To my surprise the desk clerk just smiled and said "of course we have your room ready". I was totally surprised. She just laughed and smiled and gathering my information. Less than 5 mins later I was in my room. I was able to get some much needed rest. I thoroughly appreciate the fact that although I arrived much earlier than regular check-in time my accomodations were ready. [Less]
