which includes the Mclean Metro Station, giving you access to DC and the surrounding metro area without a car! The staff here are all energetic, happy, helpful, and intelligent. Complimentary breakfast is amazing (i.e. OMELETTE BAR!). I was a little cold the first night because I could not figure out the thermostat. The next day I figured it out but it was still too cool for me-it just does not get that warm it seems. I simply found the blanket in the closet and enjoyed a much better night's sleep. The bed itself is comfortable and the room adequate- I had a junior suite. They are renovating, so lobby is beautiful. Noise was not an issue, but I was on the 5th floor. Will not look at any other place to stay if I am ever in the area again. [Less]
When my mom and I were visiting The Hamilton with my 5 children, I was not sure what to expect. For one thing my children are ages 1 to 10. For another, we had a lot of luggage. And The Hamilton is[More]
what I call a fancy dancy hotel.
The first thing I noticed was that even though we were twenty minutes early for check-in (we had been driving since 7:30 A.M.), the staff at the front desk was gracious, welcoming and accommodating. And the bellman Pierre was so friendly and kind to all of us, including the children.
We had two adjoining rooms that accommodated us quite comfortably. From start to finish - all of the staff there from the valets to the housekeeping staff - made extra efforts to make sure we were comfortable.
The hotel itself is centrally located on K Street and 14th.
Overall a great experience. [Less]
