Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by needed a place to stay near the marathon This was the host hotel for the Helena marathon. It just seemed fairly average to me. For the cost and the location I guess I had just hoped for more. The front desk staff although efficient seemed distant. Whereas everyone else in Helena was exceptionally friendly. It wasn't a bad experience but I just had hoped for more than I got. The food in the restaurant was fairly good and the wait staff was friendly June 18, 2015

But the great surprise and pleasure was the quality of the entire staff - front desk, cleaning staff, and bar staff. Everyone was delightful and very attentive. June 10, 2015

Please note that we have been staying at the Helena Holiday Inn for over three years and Carly on the front desk is the best part of the stay! She is pleasant, cheerful, helpful and very competent.
