Bring pillows from home to stay here unless you like to sleep on lumpy hard ones. The heater in the room needs upgrading as there's no thermostat it's just a noisy old one that is on or off, makes sleeping impossible but at minus 35 outside what can you do? The food was excellent as were the staff - particularly the lovely room service ladies who delivered all my meals with just the right amount of chirpiness. I stayed at room 101 on ground/ first floor and as a single female felt safe and secure. I was suprised that complimentary coffee and Tea were not in the reception area at.breakfast. Most hotels of this class would do so- to see this addressed would be welcomed. Overall would recommend. Nice view and good location

We stay at Holiday Inn in Hinton when we go see family. We've always had a great stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next stay.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Trysh Don't like sleep? Stay here
We always stay at holiday inns when we travel so we didn't think anything of staying at this hotel. It looked alright but when we got to the room they had these couch cushion pillows on the bed instead of regular pillows. When I asked for a flatter normal rectangular pillow they brought me another couch cushion in a pillowcase lol. The first night we slept terribly due to the pillows, and then the second night we didn't sleep at all because the floor above us creaked loudly whenever the person above us walked. I have a thirty year old house that doesn't creak that much. It was so loud that it kept waking us up. That stay really ruined our weekend and will make me think twice before I book a holiday inn again.
Oh I forgot about the bugs in the pool.....

Nice hotel and staff but the hotel is situated next to a highway, gives the impression as a motel not a hotel

The front desk people are quite warm-welcoming and helpful. The room type provided was actually quiet and spacious, and thus delivering me a quite relaxed sleep.

My kids and I stayed there and every time we left our room we had to call the front desk because our room keys wouldn't open the door this happened about 3times in our 12 hour stay, not only that but our room smelled of old cigarette smoke. My kids loved your pool and water slide And we went for dinner at ur hotel and it was good. Thanks

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by finechyna Great Excellent and Comfy Bed
There is no elevator in this hotel as it is only a two story building. The corridors are long and winding but the aisle is nice and wide...no problem. We were very impressed with our room as it was fairly large with a sofa with a hide-a-bed and still have an area for our computer.
The Desk Clerk checked us in quickly and efficiently and presented us with a gift. We enjoyed this hotel because it is right in the center of town.
We stayed two nights and had all our meals there. There waitresses are very friendly and efficient and the food was brought to us while it was still hot and steamy. The highlight of breakfast is that the waitress leaves a carafe of coffee at the table while we are waiting for our food.
However, the Lounge needs some improvement on their Salt & Peppered chicken wings. Our bar lady comes and cleans around the table before we're finished eating.
We did not use the pool and hot tub.
