The hotel is reasonably modern, quite clean and quiet, Its only drawback is that it could do with an elevator to get luggage to the second floor. But if you ask for help you will certainly get it as fast as they can get it to you. September 12, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Air conditioner not working during heat wave and very poor bfast I have been a platenium member for some time now and have travelled all around the world with the company. Bfast took 55 minutes to receive and it was the wrong order and very poor indeed. Dinner was also very poor. After 4 different waitresses and 25 mins later, we finally received our bottle of wine, after dinner! Our air condition was not working so we asked Beth , afternoon shift and the night manager to assist, Susanne. They were very helpful and understanding. They responded quickly and were terrific. At midnight, Susanne gave us a electric fan to cool our room, as the corridor and outside was cooler. The next morning when we checked out very early, as we never slept, both Susanne and Beth recognised our two days worth of genuine problems and replaced our reward points. I could be wrong, but it appears that this hotel has some major management problems? It appears to be cost cutting and employing young inexperienced labour and not keeping up maintenance. The head staff in the waitresses and reception were great. The other staff were also very good and polite, but very inexperienced. They need to be supervised, but it appears the staff are too busy to do this and service fails. Keep the staff, employ more for supervision and review management team. Remove franchise in restaurant. Also very poor and very limited for meals. We ate out every night. That was not our intention. We have been away for 5 weeks in Canada and us with ihg. September 6, 2014
