Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pre Cruise Stay My husband and I stayed one night pre cruise. The most difficult part of the stay was trying to find where to pick up the hotel shuttle and then FINDING the correct shuttle. Courtesy phone is in the airport terminal. One calls the hotel and is told where to meet the shuttle. However, the outside shuttle waiting area is very expansive and confusing. Not Holiday Inn's fault, but directions from the Hotel Staff on the phone could have been clearer. Everyone please note the shuttles for the Holiday Inn Express Hotels do no got to the full service Holiday Inn Hotels.. Very Confusing!! Once we found the correct shuttle, the driver was great and entertaining. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful. There is a service station at the entrance which has a small convenience store, there is a Denny's across the street and one other fast food restaurant. The pool area is beautiful. The bar and restaurant are very nice and open till 10 or 11. One can sit back and relax after a long flight. Room was fine. Bathroom fine and clean. I was surprised and disappointed to learn there is no complimentary coffee served in the lobby on weekends. We had breakfast outside by the pool which was a great start to the day. The shuttle to the cruise port is 10.00 per person. One signs up the night before and chooses one of 3 times of departure. Transfers to the shuttle was extremely well organized. We would happily stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to others January 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great pre-cruise experience My wife and I stayed here prior to our cruise from Port Everglades. I chose this location for its proximity to Hollywood beach as well as the port. We were able to head out to the beach to walk the boardwalk with a short cab ride. We were on the fourth floor just over the bar area and heard a lot of noise upon checking in. It was a Sunday night and the NFL playoffs were under way. However, after returning to the hotel, going to the pool, it was quiet and we never experienced any noise coming from the bar area. The pool is lit up with beautiful lights as is the bar which makes it feel like a bed and breakfast. We felt the cost was a bit too high for what little you received for breakfast and instead opted to walk across the street to Denny's. The hotel does offer room service and a great menu for dining.
