Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't Get Any Better Than This For This Area Not once --- not twice --- but three times I was blessed by exceptional, -above-and-beyond service by this team. I was especially impressed by the fact that all three ladies were young adults who have obviously had good training and good up-bringing. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for my needs. The only negative is a small one - I think the buffet breakfast should be included in the price. February 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Dirty and unkept room! My wife and I stayed at the Hoover Holiday Inn on Friday, January 29, 2016. This just happened to be my birthday, and this stay, and visit was a birthday present from my wife. First off, your staff, especially the lady we talked with Saturday morning-1/30/2016-was nice, polite, and professional. The disappointment was with the room, and the parents in the room above us, who let their kids run wild Friday night, and early Saturday morning, this was NOT the HOTELS fault. We requested a a room on the back side, away from main road. The whole back side, away from the main road was taken-hard to believe? We were told that there were NO top floor, 2 queen beds available, as we requested. The towel rack in the bath room is in an awful place. I know folks don't take into account that there are folks TALLER than 5'8'', but there are! I am 6'4'', my wife is 6'1''. We both clobbered our head on the towel rack above the toilet! WHY have a towel rack there, and that low??? Why not put the towels on the lower part, under the sink, where MOST hotels put extra towels. By the way, there were NO extra towels like we requested. There were several "BLACK" curly hairs in the shower, NOT ours. One of many points to show how the room and bathroom was NOT cleaned or kept up. The shower curtain was BAD! It was torn, broken, BARELY hanging together. Another miss. This is subjective, but the beds were FIRM, really firm, and uncomfortable. The floor in the room had several STAINS, several. It made us questions, WHEN the last time the room and floor was cleaned. From the feel and look, we would guess several weeks. Now, I have to ask, how does someone cleaning a room, miss a LARGE stain on the WALL?? I mean really. It was in plain site. Are the same folks cleaning the floor, cleaning the walls! How does a customer stop that "CLEAR CHOICE" pop up from popping up on the TV? We did not initiate it, and we could not stop it. HOW does a customer remove it?? When we called the front desk and asked, that night-1/29/2016, the girl had NO CLUE what I was talking about? How is that possible? Very hard to watch shows with these POP UP's, CONSTANTLY popping up, OVER and OVER and OVER again. This was my birthday weekend, and y'all contributed to bringing my fun day, into a lousy night and weekend! A lot of mess going on in that room sir, a lot! POOR is an understatement! February 8, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this Place The staff were super helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Upon checking out, I wanted to talk to the manager but he was gone to the bank. The lady at the front desk offer us a free breakfast while we waited. It was a 10 min wait so I declined the breakfast but was thankful all the same. The manager was very friendly and took notes about the small issue I had. Because of the issue he generously gave me points on my rewards card to make up for it. I would stay here again. It was such a pleasure to see the staff be friendly and helpful. Helpful and friendly staff is needed EVERYWHERE like this hotel has. Great Job you guys! January 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Front Desk Staff The staff was very helpful. My arrival time kept changing and they adjusted with no problems. The front desk staff helped with taxi information from the airport and call me back with the approximate fare. They also helped with directions to some late night dinning. January 21, 2016
