I am a Holiday Inn express person. Booked this hotel by mistake but decided to try it. Everything in the hotel is great but no breakfast. Will not stay there again

I was very disappointed in the reception and the price of the room. I stayed at the Vicksburg, Ms. location 4 days prior and the total experience there was extremely more professional and enjoyable. Being a Priority Club member for over 30 plus years, I expected a higher level experience.

The first night stay was very bad. After a long drive to get there, a two and a half week stay at a hospital ICU with a relative we were in no mood to party . An event at the hotel that started after we checked in left us without parking for three hours and high noise levels till midnight. We could have been warned beforehand to have a chance to change rooms or stay at another hotel. We were stressed and in need of a good nights rest instead we had to stay away due to no parking and high noise levels till late at night. Give me a break!

A bit pricey. I understand the conserve water thing. I'm totally down with reusing my towels and not changing the sheets. I'm there for three days, I don't need 3 new sets of sheets or towels... But the cleaning ladies come in, make the bed and refill uses toiletries and empty trash. Maybe I am mistaken but I thought they were supposed to overall clean the room. I.e what was stated above... and quick dust, quick vacuum and put remote, TV list and Welcome Binder back into place. Staff was very nice and friendly, the hotel was clean and open, very well air-conditioned (can't tell it's humid outside until you are outside) and it is in a prime location for shopping and easy access to downtown Birmingham. I recommend Tortuga's Pizza (bring your appetite but be prepared to wait 45 mins for your pizza, you won't be disappointed), and Logan's Roadhouse.

I have stayed in many hotels in the last year due to work. Many of those have been the big name high priced hotels and this one is as good if not better than any of the others that charge large rates just because of their name. We will be back to this one any and every time we travel to or thru the area.

We had a very pleasant stay here during a soccer tournament. The staff was very accommodating for letting us check in a little early due our game scheduling. The hotel was clean and convenient to many eating establishments, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Will be staying there again.

This hotel was awesome! The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were very nice. I enjoyed breakfast as well, but the breakfast area attendant wasn't as overly friendly as the other associates I encountered. Other than that, I would definitely stay at this hotel over ANY hotel in the area. Gorgeous.

Very modern clean hotel in a great location by a lake and a mall. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast would be better if they had a waffle maker. Will definitely stay here again.

Words don't begin to tell how much I appreciated the great attitude everyone has at this property. Friendly greetings when I walked into the front lobby no matter what time-of-day. Asking if there is something else that I need that I have not asked for. Breakfast and Dinner were worth taking time to enjoy. This is a good venue to stay if your travels take you to Birmingham , AL.

I stay at this hotel for our family reunion. Everything about this hotel was great until the second day our housekeeper did not clean the hot tube that I requested for her to do. Therefore I had to call down stairs to the front desk twice to get them to send someone up to clean the hot tube. After waiting 2hrs no one came. So I went down stair to speak with the front desk to ask why no one from housekeeping had not came to clean the tube. So the lady at the front desk call housekeeping again. I waited again for 1hr no housekeeper by that time I had to leave the room for awhile, as I was leaving I inform the front desk that I still had not seen the housekeeper. So when I return from shopping I notice they still had not clean this hot tube. By that time I was smoking mad, because I did not fill I had to get to this point to get someone to come and clean this tube. So I call down to front desk and inform her that if they would give me the clean stuff I would clean it myself. By that time someone from housekeeping shows up. Now why did it take me saying I would clean this tube to get someone from housekeeping to clean it. I felt that they should have wave one of those night for us.

Although 2 years old, this hotel looked brand new. Everything was bright, clean, and inviting. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us- allowing us to store our 2 bikes inside overnight. Disappointed in not recognizing priority club membership. Also had to ask for internet code, they did not offer this information upon arrival.

All staff was very pleasant and accomodating. We had a great stay. One of the cleanest hotel's we have stayed in. I certainly recommend this hotel and will stay here again on our next visit.

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at. When I arrived early my room wasn't ready (my fault, I forgot I was on central time). No problem, they moved me and upgraded me to a suite. It was beautiful for my two day stay. The staff there is second to none. Shortly after getting to the room I was contacted by the manager to see if all was well.
The hotel is in a good location and if you don't want to eat at the restaurant in the hotel there is a good steak house nearby and other restaurants as well.

We were in Hoover, AL for a friend's wedding and the Holiday Inn was just perfect. The king room was really comfortable, spacious, and clean.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the buffet was delicious!
Definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Hoover.

this was Holiday Inn was gorgeous. It is only about a year old and in very good shape and very close to everything. We messed up our room cards and the front desk had it fixed within seconds. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast was not free, but I think we may have read it wrong when we booked it. Would definitely stay here again.

The Southern Regional Volleyball Tournament, recently held in Birmingham, drew several teams to this hotel. Our team had an early play time on Saturday and hotel management made sure the restaurant opened early for us. As luck would have it, we ended up with an early play time on Sunday as well, and Blair arranged for the staff to arrive early once again for the teams. Kudos to the breakfast staff (cooks and servers)! The rooms were comfortable and we all had a great stay! Thanks!

This inn was a disappointment. We arrived to find that they were hosting a motorcyclists' convention. The motorcyclists themselves were agreeable persons, but management allowed them to park their cycles under the canopy making it difficult for autos to load and unload under the canopy. Management also allowed non-handicapped people to use the handicapped reserved parking spaces since the parking lot was very crowded. This made it difficult for handicapped guests. The desk clerk invited us to a complimentary manager's reception which we attended. There were several guests at the bar, but no attendant. We waited for over 10 minutes for service before we eventually gave up and left. The desk clerk also implied, or least we believed she implied, that the breakfast buffet was also complimentary. There was no menu board indicating otherwise or any other indication that this was not the case. We were surprised with a check for the buffet, which was only average and significantly overpriced. On the good side, the facility is very nice, the location is good, and the staff was helpful.

This is my home away from home when I'm in Hoover AL
Everyone is nice and there is always cold Sam Adams in the never closed snack kitchen.
I have stayed here many times since January,it's the best part of a tough day for me!!!!
