This hotel needs upgrading to compete with other business in the Immediate area every thing needs to be updated carpeting cleaned but old not fresh looking In halls and rooms. The bar in the restaurant was out of a lot of items and the breakfast is average at best

I often come to Hopkinsville for business and always stay at the Holiday Inn.
The staff is very friendly and very helpfull when asked a question.

Upon arriving at the hotel in the evening, we were already met with a smile in a beautiful entryway and felt welcomed! Room was ready ... check-in was a breeze ... looked over at welcome sign and even my name was there welcoming priority club members! I had fun "spinning the wheel" to receive a snack package and waters!
The room and beds were very comfortable and clean! I would recommend anybody become priority club members. Not only do you get better discounts but also as you get a free buffet sit down restaurant meal in the morning at this hotel which is so delicious! Everyone was so nice ... paper at door in the morning during the week ... awesome!
My husband who said "Let's spend another night" shocked me, as he never says that! Hope to stay here again soon!

I travel all the time and often I am so bored in the evenings. At this hotel there is a great bar to spend my evenings. They have Karaoke on Wednesday nights and even if nobody is singing, the DJ plays any an all request. I have made friends (guests) at this hotel over time, and it's great to talk to them while watching a game on the TV at the bar. And Heidi is not just a great bartender, she has become a great friend. She always makes me feel welcome and seems to genuinely glad to see me each time I walk through the doors. There are times that I have a choice to make about where I will spend the night. I will drive an extra hour just to stay at this hotel. Beverly, Yana and all the desk clerks take care of me from the minute I walk through the door until I check out. I highly recommend this hotel.

Got caught in a major storm in Nashville heading back from Panama City Beach. Had to go ahead and stay somewhere that night and found this hotel. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcome. The beds, pillows everythign were extremely comfortable. Tried to use the business center in the morning and it was locked, asked the lady at the desk when it was open and she said it was. I told her it was locked and she said well you need a key. Rather short and rude, but I went on. Went in to use the computer and then needed a password so had to go back. Seemed like she could have been more helpful. At breakfast again was welcomed graciously and although it was a buffet (a very good one at that with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, egg casserole, biscults/gravy/waffles, fresh fruit juice, etc,), we were checked on and treated very well.
This may now be our hotel anytime we go to Nashville, It's about an hour away, but the service is work it when we go to see a football game.

For the two days were were there, the eggs on the breakfast buffet were watery. I complained the first day and they fixed the issue. The watery eggs returned the next day. Rather than complain, I avoided the eggs. Our room was humid, despite a working AC. The staff was friendly and helpful; however, the breakfast buffet needs some help.

we ended up being referred here. Just a short 8 minute drive away. Lovely hotel in a very quiet spot. Very clean. Wonderful beds. Very Very Happy with our stay here. Highly recommend it.

Stayed here while visiting with a client in the Hopkinsville area. The staff could not have been more friendly, and the facilities were extremely comfortable. The breakfast left a bit to be desired as the eggs were undercooked. Beyond that, this was a very enjoyable stay. I will definitely stay here again should I need to return to Hopkinsville.

Given that the hotel is an older building it was about as nice and clean as possible. The staff was super friendly but needs to focus more on service and professionalism. I, and others, had to find someone to seat me for dinner. The front desk had the "spin the wheel" game that I have not seen in years. The bar only seats about eight and really feels as if it were an after thought stuffed into a dark corner. The pool was rented from an outside party and was off limits. The area of town is very much a fast food stretch of town and not more to offer.
Given the area and what else if offered, it would be 50/50 if I returned.
I must say that every one of the staff was friendly but the building is just simply old.

Meals-Hotel provides a daily coupon for $5.00. Any purchase made is around $10, so you need to add $5.00 any time you use the coupons. Breakfast buffet was the same thing you would receive at a Holiday Inn Express (Should have stayed there)
Room-Friday night I was next to a crying baby all night.
Room-Saturday they put an entire youth basketball team on my floor. Wouldn't it make more sense to spread the team amoung the five floors.
The kids slammed doors and ran up and down the halls until 11pm then were up at 6am doing the same thing.
I was asked when I checked out how my stay was?Worst stay at a Holiday Inn property. She asked if there was anything she could do. That would have been better addressed the nught before.

The staff is friendly but extremely slow to provide customer serivce. We ate breakfast daily for 7days and on 5 of those days, we waited at least 20 minutes for serivce. They brought the check 10 minutes before the food arrived. One waitress, Paige, was the lone exception, she was freindly, efficient and had normal wait times for the 2 days she was our waitress.
Room was not dirty but was not clean either. Bed was not very comfortable. Air conditioning was too noisy to leave on night but needed to have something to drowned out the noise from the hallway.
I began traveling for business 3 months ago and this hotel is by far the worst that i have stayed at in the past 3 months.

The staff was very accomadating, and because I am a platinum club member I and my sister received free breakfast all three days. The housekeeper jumped right on our room to clean as soon as we left for the day, she even left us extra towels.
The lady (hostess) was very helpful at breakfast and the server was there at our beck and call.
Highly reccommend this hotel
The pool and hot tub were perfect tempatures and the area was clean. lots of pool towels.

I am always staying in this hotel when on business in the town. I am impressed with the service. They asked me how I liked the room, and I answered that the next time I would like to stay in the same room. I got the room next time I arrvied, they hold it for me.

Need to fix the treadmill in the exercise room. They have two treadmills, but one always seems to be broken.
Also, add a few dumpbells to the fitness room.
Staff is very friendly.

The rooms were great. We had two rooms since our son and his wife were traveling with us. My only complaint is that when I was making the reservations the agent promised me the rate would include the breakfast buffet, especially since we were priority members. However, when we checked in we received instead coupons for $5 off the breakfast. However, that wasn't even the main issue....the really upsetting thing was that when we checked in we were informed the restaurant was closed (it was 6:30 pm). I realize it was Christmas Day, but the agent should have told me when I booked that the restaurant would be closed, so we could look for a place to eat dinner on the way in, instead of planning to eat at the hotel. It was late, we had driven 10 hrs., it was raining, and the only place to eat was Burger King...really not happy about that whole scene.

The staff is warm and welcoming. The building is well maintained. The towels and linen had an odd smell from the laundry. it wasn't from smoking in the laundry but smelled of some kind of deodorizer. Overall the stay was fine.

Staff very attentive and friendly.
The first room I had the frig made a ticking noise and the AC sounded like a hammer hitting the wall.
The bed in both rooms were the worst I have ever slept in at a Holiday Inn property!!

When I stay for a few days I usually want service every other day. On Saturday I received service in my room. On Sunday I left my do not disturb sign on the door as I worked all night and was sleeping.On Monday I removed my sign early and left the room by 9:00am. I never received any service. I went to the front desk Tuesday AM to advise I didn't get service on Monday and to make sure they came in on Tuesday. At approx. 2:00pm they came to my room and inquired if I needed anything and seemed surprised when I said yes even though I had notified the front desk I definitely needed service.

Staff was very friendly, Lounge was excellent, food needs improvement. Rooms were comfortable and clean but they are dated and need a facelift. I enjoyed my stay but with a few upgrades this place would be outstanding!

Heidi has done a lot of good for the hotel bar. She has always been friendly and professional. I used to go out in town to find something to eat, but I enjoy the atmosphere at the hotel bar so much, that I always eat in now.

I have stayed here twice, because there are no other Holiday Inns in the area, I'm stuck. I requested a maintenance repair of my shower head after the first night because it leaked so bad a shower was close to impossible. It was never completed and at 10 pm it's too late to do much. The restaurant was slow with poor choices for a breakfast . Room service was unable to provide me with my complete order. They had to call my room back 3 times because they did not have my desert request.
