Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice clean room-good bar service I have stayed at your hotel bi monthly for the last three plus years and have never had any problems. Staff were always courteous and helpful. I remember having niggly problems not really worth mentioning but the staff want to know anyway, so they can improve. What more can you ask for. November 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Large room, comfortable bed and nice restaurant This was a good experience as are most Holiday Inns. The benefit to this particular hotel is its close proximity of Houston's Intercontinental Airport and the fact that it has a full service restaurant. With that being said, rooms are somewhat noisy because of airplanes taking off and landing, however, not a fault of the hotel. For an older hotel, rooms are spacious, but bathrooms are quite small. There was plenty of hot water though! November 10, 2014

I must admit the hotel looks old from the outside but the interior/lobby was updated as well as my room. I did not like the fact that I did not have a fridge nor a microwave in my room. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room #205 Friendly Staff, but as I was checking in the rep. answered a phone call and mentions that the property was "sold out". Got to room #205, and upon entering the room there was a very sour odor. It was quite strong... Smelled like mold or mildew. I reluctantly called the front desk and asked if there was another room available. He asked what the problem was, and I explained the smell. He said that the hotel was sold out, and there weren't any other "King rooms available". I was very tired as I was in transit from Istanbul Turkey to Alabama, with an overnight stop in Houston. Shuttles to mall and mart are provided everyday to make everyone convenient but very limited space. So need to book early. Restaurant services is very good. November 9, 2014
