Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome stay, as usual! We seem to keep coming back here every time we stay in Houston! The staff is awesome and the rooms are awesome. The beds are ridiculous.. It's like sleeping on a cloud. My friends and I had a stressful day, so it was nice to be able to check in fast and go relax by the pool. Everyone was friendly, and I especially love how even the staff working in other rooms would pop their head out to greet us as we walked by. This place truly has top notch customer service and a great staff. We will be staying here next time we're in town. The location is ridiculously convenient. It's super close to a mall and some of the best places in town to eat. We love it! March 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay The hotel staff was helpful and very polite. The room was spacious and clean. Two things I didnt like about the stay were the restaurant and the exercise room. The food was good but kinda pricey for the amount of food they brought out. The exercise room is very small and insufficient. Only a small rack of free weights ,an eleptical, a bike, and two treadmills. If You use a full gym at home and are staying here extended than You might consider making arrangements with a local facility for Your workout March 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Facility Everything was great except for one thing. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was helpful, location was good and price was right. The only issue I had was the room desk to work at was at least six inches above the normal working height of a desk with the chair adjusted to maximum height. It was like I was a child who could not reach the table. When I asked personnel at the front desk about this, and if it was the same in all rooms, they suggested that most people will put something under their seat. An Adult Booster Chair? It is unfortunate because I was on a trip for training and studying was what I was needing to do in the room so will have to look for another facility on my next session. February 26, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel, poor integrity I stayed at this hotel during a volleyball tournament weekend with my teenage daughter and her teammates. The hotel is very nice, and has a great restaurant. Very clean inside and out, and the hotel staff at the front desk was very courteous and were quick to answer questions and provide assistance with our stay. My problem was with the cleaning service. Don't leave something in your room by accident! Don't plan to get your belongings returned to you! I was very saddened by the lack of integrity by the maid service and was thoroughly disgusted that I didn't get my property returned to me. February 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad housekeeping and lousy breakfast I guess maybe I am a bit harsh on this hotel coz it is new but i went to the restaurant one day for a simple breakfast and they had ran out of scrambled eggs and others and are left with only bread. I took 2 breads and a coffee and the charges was $12! There was also another day that I worked in my room till noon and I went out and when I was back they have not clean my room. I guess it is pricy for this kind of quality so I would not stay in this hotel when I m back for work in Houston. January 25, 2014

Even those that were busy servicing other rooms made time to stop and say hi or smile our way. We did have to step over room service trays from other rooms when going to ours (yuck) and one was even left out overnight.. From the time we came in the night before around 10 PM until checkout at 11 AM the next day. Still sitting there! The pool was way too cold to swim in, which was severely disappointing since this is the reason we booked here. We like indoor pools because we can go for a swim in the off season. No such luck on this stay! Overall, everything else was great, including the hot tub. We will be visiting again! January 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good place This is one of the best Holiday Inn Hotels I have visited. Room was great, bed was very comfy with plenty of nice pillows, quiet, clean and good smelling. Very convenient location to my interests. Staff was kind and helpful, they were always with a smile. Breakfast buffet was not bad but it could be much better. Coffee was the WORST coffee I ever had, definitively they need to improve it at least by offering coffee from one of those fancy machines available everywhere that produce amazing expressos and cappuccinos with the touch of a button. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Need to up their game No shampoo in the room - two conditioners though! Dinner in the restaurant was pretty average, breakfast buffet terrible. Room OK but nothing to write home about. In room fridge buzzed away so I turned it off - about 4:00 in the morning large crash as big chunks of ice fell away from the ice box inside. They need to deice a lot more often. I had the heating turned up to 76 degrees and only then was the room bearable. I think the thermostat was reading wrong. If you can find somewhere else to stay locally, you should probably do it. December 23, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Experience I always enjoy Holiday Inn Express hotel stays. I tried this Holiday Inn and was extremely dissapointed. The facility looks good inside and out, but that is the only good grade that I can supply. The staff wasn't very friendly. The hostess acted put out when I asked for an extended checkout. The coffee in the room is terrible. No complimentary coffee in the lobby. Room was extremely loud at night. Thin walls? I only got about 3-4 hours of sleep. I would not recommend this hotel. I am a IHG Priority Club Platinum member, my only beef was that I was not recognized as such when checking in. When I mentioned it to the HI associate, she seemed put off that I was busting her chops for NOT RECOGNIZING me !!!! Perhaps a bit snooty ???? I don't know. November 4, 2013

After experiencing transmission problems in our van Bob an employee helped us find a shop where our van was serviced while we did the show. He helped us get our luggage and wares for the show stored so the shop could tow the van from the hotel. It was comforting to know so many of the employees had our back. October 4, 2013

The staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment I set foot in the door. The restaurant was a nice surprise. Not very big, but the food was great and the portions large. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Brand New I stayed in a King room. The room was great. The higher ceilings than a normal hotel room made it feel very spacious. There was ample desk space. The bathroom had only a shower (no tub) which was great. I never take a bath in a hotel anyway. I didn't use it but the pool looked nice. The fitness room was a standard hotel stuff. (couple of machines in a small room). Bar was great with lots of beers. August 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service and would happily recommend I was in town for business and was working very close by so selected this hotel on that basis - the free shuttle swung it for me. On arrival the welcome from Jennifer was excellent, very cheerful, helpful and efficient. The lobby and restaurant were very well presented and had everything needed. The room was spotless and very well prepared with everything I needed and expected. This is a great value hotel with a great service to match, would recommend and would stay again and that is the only real test for a hotel! Thanks guys. July 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VERY NICE & CLEAN; BED COMFORTABLE: GREAT LOCATION The Hotel was GREAT. POOL area simple but relaxing. Rooms not facing the street are BIgger rooms. ROOM very clean and bed and pillows comfortable. Air conditioning nice and cool. Only issue was breakfast staff not friendly and wouldn't open 10 minutes early to allow athletes to eat before heading to games. We could see the buffet ready, staff was leaning against bar talking & laughing. Did not let us in one minute early. We were knocking on door and staff would ignore us. GREAT LOCATION FOR BASEBALL & VOLLEYBALL June 17, 2013
