Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by relaxed, comfortable, nice surroundings I travel often, and experience hotel staff that, for the most part are inattentive and really do not want to be there. This was not the case here. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and comfortable to be around. Our party was accommodated in a gracious manor, and I left feeling we all got an excellent value, and had a good time. I usually leave a hotel and don't think about the place again because the overall experience is typically mediocre. Not the case here at all. This hotel will go on our list of places to return to. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, quiet, relaxing room with great service My stay at the conference occurred during an intense rain episode and the hotel was housing several busloads of school children. Despite these potential disasterous events, I found Holiday Inn Express to have very clean, and quite rooms. The breakfast was overly generous and very tasty. Wait staff was prompt and helpful. The only distraction was that one kid pulled the fire alarm during breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. I even saw the security lady patrolling the parking lot on foot during the middle of the intense thunderstorms, which lasted several days. I was very pleased with the cost, and saved money over the HI located on the I-10 corridor, and over the facilities hosting the conference. I would definitely stay there again when the need arises for the area. October 28, 2015
