The staff need to learn the importance of customer care..... The whole check in/out process felt cold and impersonal, with no acknowledgement of IHG membership, no offer of help with luggage and overall lack of any kind of 'personal touches'. The location and 'functionality' of the hotel is without question, but that's about it...

The hotel is clean, comfortable and just what you would expect from a large chain like Holiday Inn. But what makes this hotel special is that the staff are so attentive and friendly. Everyone from the cleaners to the waiting staff were just more cheerful and more helpful than you would expect from a chain hotel.
This was our second time of staying here and our comments were very similar last time.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room had a lovely view and was clean and comfortable .Bikes were accommodated and an early breakfast provided for cycling event. Easy to book and accessible. We had a pleasant stay and there were no problems. The car park felt secure because of lighting and cctv. Would use this hotel again when in the area, and recommend to others.
