Everything about this hotel was great from the rooms to the staff at the front desk; however, the lady working the phones for customer care was incredibly rude. I called the day of my reservation to see if I was going to be able to get an early check-in. The lady told me she did not know. When I asked her if she could put me in touch with someone that might be able to help me, she hung up on me. I called back and received similar treatment. She was incredibly rude and condescending on the phone. I am still unsure why she wouldn't let me speak to someone else or someone at the front desk. Since I was just wasting time driving around Cleveland, I decided to take my chances at checking in early. The staff at the front desk were great and had my room available. They had no idea I had asked to check in early.

I have been a platinum member for the past 8 years and stay in IHG hotels 3 to 4 times a week all over. I am already platinum for next year.
I asked about getting a free upgrade and the woman at the counter said that the rooms on the fifth floor which have a lounge for special guests cost $10 more a night and that I did not qualify. I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 other times and have been upgrade several of those times to that floor. I do not understand this, but I am now staying at another hotel in the area because of this.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn this past Saturday was very nice. The food at the banquet was delicious. The bar tenders were friendly. The bed was comfortable. It was all good until we received our bill in the morning. We had ordered 2 movies that were advertised at $4.99; however, we were billed $17 and $18 for them. I think the print on the true prices of movies should be larger and more obvious. We would not have ordered movies if we knew how much they really cost!

Check-in went smoothly, after a few minutes, but didn't receive breakfast buffet voucher (I was under the impression these were included with the honors program?#. Room wasn't bad but the bathroom reaked of a pungent musty odor #presumably from a leaky toilet?#. Good toiletries! Bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable. I appreciate the honors program with Holiday Inn and they have now subsequently become my primary hotel chain to utilize on my #many) business trips. Quick and easy location, right off of the interstate. Lobby scene, with the loud bar/club on the weekends, was a little tedious. Overall pleasant stay. B+ Thanks!

need more attention on the fitness room. Elevavators have loose panels and casue a short in electircal pannel that casue people to get stuck in the elevator. This happened after the day before when I told them of problem and they did nothing. Waiters on breakfast are not very frinedly. Bartenders have their favorties and ingore the rest.. Night manger tyrs but I think his hands are tied with just how much he can do. This is not worht the price they charge for one night...
the only nice thing is there is a bone fish grill and outback across street where the service and people are amazing....

I come here for work once a month, and the staff is always accommodating. Big, clean, and quiet rooms. Close to freeways, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Affordable room service if you choose not to go to their on-site bar or restaurant; walking distance to other near-by restaurants. This site provides free breakfast buffet coupons for IHG rewards members, which has very good food. Definitely worth the stay.

Saturday my service was good and management was good. Sunday morning two cool pots of coffee, pancakes batter loose and the bacon was Terrible. When I asked my waiter to correct these issues he brought back colder coffee and grease filled horrible bacon. I wouldn't stay there again if I planned on having breakfast or a meeting. I wouldn't chance a repeat performance by my waiter and your cook.

Haven't stayed in a full-service Holiday Inn in years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a nice property, conveniently located with fine staff. Room was excellent, and compares most favorably with other hotels. I will stay there again.

This was the second year that my friend K Ress and I stayed at this place as we make this yearly visit to the Cleveland area. This will be our last stay there as it was deja vu. Last year we were in a room next to a group of young people who were partying long after the nightclub closed. We explained that this year and requested a room far from that action. The night manager was very apologitic and discounted our room, and gave us other nice perks. However, our room was behind the nightclub so we had the throbing sound of the music until it closed. Then in the room next to us , the party began. We complained again and the noise did quiet. However, try to get back to sleep. I'll never stay there again as it is party city.

I was at the hotel on a business trip and it happened to coincide with a party that the hotel was hosting to celebrate the re-launch of their nightclub Impulse. They have the best scotch!
The new decor and layout were very impressive to say the least. All of the employees in the lounge could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
The hotel in general is in great condition and my room was newly updated and spotless.
All of the employees of the hotel from the front desk to room service and even the breakfast staff were warm and engaging.
I will definitely return to this hotel on my next visit.

The accomodations were nice, but there were too many items that were annoying. For exmple, the alarm clock in the room is horrible so you need to use your phone. I had a king size bed which was comfortable, but a bear to move to access the only electric outlet near the bed for my phone and other electric needs.
The lock didn't work at the workout room, the pool area was cold and the pool was not in service for a few days during my stay.
Then to have a good night sleep interrupted by a fire alarm with no fire. This happened on more than one night.
Finally, I think everyu room should have a small refridgerator. Unfortunately, they charge an extra fee for that.

Room Service and stay was all excellent. Would recommend to anyone passing through if the WiFi issue would be fixed. I personally had to call the service provider because the front desk was unable to help.

We must have been put in an addition and had too much walking. I had requested a room near the elevator due to health problems, but instead had to walk down a couple of halls to get to the elevator and then had to walk to the end of the hall to the room.

It wasn't quite the Romantic getaway we anticipated as the hotel was full of kids running wild due to youth hockey's teams staying there. Everywhere we walked in the hotel we were dodging kids running around, we went to get away from kids...js. The restaurant ran a "special" menu on friday due to Valetine's day and the menu wasn't all that appetizing to us. We were a bit disappointed as the ad showed us at a minimum we would get with the Romantic package $50 for dinner at hotel restaurant, one bottle of sparking wine, one bouquet of flower and a box of chocolate per night as we booked the package for two nights....we received a bottle of wine the first night...not the second and certificates for dinner both nights but but nothing else in the offer. The Impulse Bar was hopping like crazy Saturday night so that was a plus and we had a great time there. Room was well a room we enjoyed it.It was smoke free room YET the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke so bad. Would I choose to stay there again not sure!

Our overall stay was good.. Some minor updates are needed.. We kept having to put the toilet handle back on and a bar of soap in the drain of the tub so the water would drain while showering. The back of the tv remote was missing so we kept having to put the batteries back in. The staff was really pleasant.. Thanks!

Due to inclement weather I needed to seek refuge at the nearby Holiday Inn. I've stayed here a number of times over the years and have always had a great stay. I was comfortable and felt relaxed in my king-size bed. The room was warm and pretty. The staff is always welcoming and makes me feel at home at my "home away from home"! :)

I normally stay at this Holiday Inn for close proximity to work in the area. My stays have always been forgettable and nothing ever really seems to stand out about this Holiday Inn. On many separate occasions I have had non-functioning equipment in my room, missed wake up calls, Platinum benefits not granted to me, and the last time I was there I left two articles of clothes behind and the staff found and then suddenly lost them when I returned to pick them up. The value of the left behind items was well over $160 dollars which had I known this hotel was incompetent I would have paid them to ship them to me when they originally found them. As a resolution I was only offered $40 dollars or 5000 points as a parting gift for my 7 years of staying at this hotel.

As usual I made my reservation in advance for a King Bed Executive Level Nonsmoking, I guess because I was later in the evening checking in they decided to give my room to another guest and move me to different room. (to note they did this with out saying anything, I guess they were hoping I wouldn't notice) Well I did notice and all I got was I moved you to a cheaper room, if I wanted a cheaper room I would have booked it. So instead of staying the 4 nights I originally booked, I checked out in the morning. For a platinum member who stays 100 nights a year at Holiday Inns this is unacceptable. I was also not recognized as a IHG Platinum member and no bill was ready in advance.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years for my job. I appreciate all the upgrades made to the rooms and lobby. I have always had very good experiences here. Here are a few recommendations that I feel are worth mentioning:
1. Consider having outlets on the bedside lighting fixtures like you do on the desk. I use a CPAP device and I always have to pull the heavy mattress away from the wall to use the plug and I cannot have my phone plugged in near the bed.
2. Consider having a room thermostat instead of the wall units that shut the fan off once the temperature has been attained. I like to leave a fan running all night and if I choose to do that then I have no AC or heat running.
3. Consider having microwaves in all the rooms equipped with a refrigerator. It is hit or miss on the Executive level floor which is where I always stay.
4. This may not be a possible change but be aware that the walls are thin and you can frequently hear conversation or the TV from the next room. The noisy wall unit fan is usually enough to drown this out.
I absolutely love the staff here. I don't know what you guys do to retain top notch desk and restaurant staff but keep doing it. Ann Marie and Liz are exceptional people.
My only other recommendation is to consider becoming pet friendly. I usually travel with my little dog and when I do I have to stay at another location.

Stay here at least twice a year.
Positives: The 5th Floor Executive room with snacks. Updated and renovated sections of the hotel. Friendly front desk staff. Very active and positive with repeat business customers. King size beds very comfortable. Internet is free. Location is perfect as RE: food and Interstate access.
Con: Internet was gltichy last two times but it is free! so that is technically only 1/2 of a con! Parking can be a real problem especially Monday and Tuesday.
