First stay was great, 2nd stay not as restful. Ice machine outside of our room. Receptionist not as friendly on our 2nd stay.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by tgman56 Not the best Hol Inn I"ve stayed at....
At first glance, this Holiday Inn looks to be up to the standards which I expect from Holiday Inn. However, when getting ready for bed, I noted that the number of available outlets for charging phones and iPads, etc., was very limited. Even worse, there were no outlets near the bed... I had to pull the sofa away from the wall to find a plug near the bed. Even the lesser quality hotels are at least putting in light fixtures with a plug or two in the base, for convenience.
In the morning, when I took a look into the shower, i'm not sure if I was seeing mold around the seal, or just some discoloration... either way, it looked bad. The marble tub enclosure also looked discolored... maybe hard water or rust stains. When looking further around the bathroom, I noticed wallpaper peeling and some water damage up on the ceiling.
In fairness, the price was reasonable, and maybe I'm watching too many episodes of Hotel Impossible, which makes me more aware of what to look for in a hotel.
There was also a restaurant off the lobby, and the breakfast buffet was better than the average Hol Inn choice, but you either paid or were issued a breakfast coupon.
Again, none of these things are show stoppers, but I'll probably check price and availability of one of the other hotels in the area on my next visit.
