Just had a short getaway and this was the perfect place to relax. We had a nice suite overlooking the marina. Food and entertainment was great at Jimmy Guana's restaurant onsite. And you can walk to a number of other places within a few blocks. The beach is just two blocks away. Even played miniature golf in the breezeway between the buildings. A few miles to the south is Johns Pass, and to the north is Clearwater Beach. Great location.

The internal common areas, pool, mini golf, werer always clean or being cleaned. Food was good, live music, and good envoirnment. There was a good mix of families and couples staying at hotel. The locationw as central to the things were wanted to do, and a CVS, and two restaurants were in walking distance. I liked the set back location in conjunction to the main street.
The room was spacious, and the House keeping staff was great. making us different "towel" animals each day we collected them on the spare bed, making a small "party" The room was clean very well each day while we were away. Kudos to them.
ok the not so good.
Our room had a few issues, the AC didnt work the 1st night, but we decided to let the desk know the next morning as we departed for day trip. When we returned the prompt engineers had fixed/ replace the unit quickly.
There was a leak ABOVE the toilet, but was A/C condensor line.
Our 1st night there was no hot water, so the engineer turned on the sinks, tubs in the adjecent rooms to draw the hot water over.
These are all no big deal, but want to share because they do happen. BUT, the staff & engineers were prompt and efficent to resolve them- thats good staff and response that should be mentioned.

I have stayed at this hotel several times for business and recently decided to stay here for my anniversary.
They were great and took time to make sure I had a great room.
The staff is friendy and courteous.
I cant wait to come back for another visit.
Plenty to do and great weather. Thats saying a lot because I live in Florida !!

We enjoyed our visit. This is a terrific location. We had a harbor view room. The housekeeping staff is exceptional. We had a minor electrical problem which was taken care of immediately.
I have a few criticisms. First, our room was not accessible by elevator & we had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs. When the desk attendant told us, he didn't offer any assistance with our luggage.
I don't understand why non-guests are permitted to use the pool. While there are plenty of chairs, there were lots more children than were staying in the hotel.
Finally the wifi is dreadful!!!

We were here for our niece's wedding. Had a wonderful time, your facility is very well kept, very clean, we loved the pool and the area around the band & stage. We used the Johnny Guana restaurant for breakfast only, the food was ok, a little high priced.

I loved this Holiday Inn Property. Due to a conference, we stayed on the first floor that did not face the Marina. However it was still beautiful and pleasant. The pools were wonderful There is a larger pool with a waterfalls and little slide for babies. It was warm and lovely. There is another pool that has a hot tub that fewer children use. The room was lovely. The staff were professional and helpful. The walkway in the hotel has a little putt-putt course. The hotel is situated by the Marina if you love boats. I love boats. You can rent a boat right from the property. The restaurant on the deck features nightly music. It was such a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend it and go back again.
