Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE Everyone at the Holiday Inn in Carmel were true hotel professionals. But more important, they were guest oriented individuals. Each had a smile on their face, regardless of what was happening around them. Each was friendly, willing to listen to and assist all guests and their requests. October 15, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful but with some issues This was a very beautiful hotel. The staff was very good at check in; showed us how to get redemption from our Priority Club, and we were able to get one night free. We were surprised that the breakfast times were given as usual: 6-10 during the week; 7-11 on weekends. But they were not complimentary as at most Holiday Inn Express & Suites. The cost to buy the breakfast was $12 or so. I'm sure it would have been worth it , but it was too costly for us. The biggest problem we had was noise outside our window. We were next to the pool, so may have been the pool vent. We weren't in the room much until bedtime, and it was a very droning noise. I was unable to sleep. The hotel staff was willing to solve the issue by moving us to an upstairs room, but, it was 12:30 a.m. - 1 a.m. and we did not feel we could do that. They brought me ear plugs, but that didn't work. So, I didn't have a good nights sleep. We were able to move to another room the second night that was quiet. We would stay here again, but be careful about the room location. . October 14, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel is nice but WiFi on 6th floor is terrible This Holiday Inn is fine and in keeping with all that I expect from the Holiday EXCEPT the WiFi service is terrible on the 6th floor. Specifically I was in room 606 and WiFi is awful there. Very weak. I had to use the hotspot on my iPhone which is a disadvantage because anytime I am on a call on my phone, I lose the connection on my laptop. C'mon Holiday Inn-Carmel....fix the WiFi....boost the signal....do something October 11, 2014
