Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice if you can find it and have time to spare This little hotel is buried in a jungle of office buildings. I was not prepared for the maze to get to it which was only worsened by the construction. Perhaps this was why I was able to get a better rate than at the Express. I had hoped that the Holiday Inn would be a little bit of an upgrade from our usual Express visits. It is certainly a more substantial hotel, but not sure that it was more impressive. We had several bags - there were no carts :( The walk to get to the elevators was a bit long with our baggage, and no alternate route was offered. When we came to check in there were others at the desk. I am not one to crowd my way in so we stood back and waited our turn. Someone else, who apparently does not respect the privacy of others, came in and stood right up behind the couple checking in. Instead of indicating to the person that there were others ahead of her, she was taken out of order. Neither she or the attendant apologized for this. The room was cooler than we are accustomed to, but only by a few degrees. We could not override the controls either on the wall or on the unit. Nice clean basic room. Our stay the following night at a Holiday Inn in a different city confirmed our original opinion that for the expensive town that it is in, it's over due for an upgrade. February 2, 2016

There was no free breakfast but the restaurant area look very nice. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. February 2, 2016

I am a platnium member not a holiday inn emplpyee. After speeking with what i assume was the supervisor they removed the charges. January 30, 2016
