Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water for morning/evening shower My mom and I recently stayed at this hotel due to my dad being a patient at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel. After a very long day in the ER at the hospital in our hometown, my dad was transferred by ambulance to the Heart Center for further care. We live out of town, so thought it best to get a hotel. After we checked in, we went to our room, and I decided to take a shower. I let the water run for several minutes, and it never did get warm, or even hot. The water for the sink was also cold. I hurried up and finished, and went to bed. I spoke with the front desk personnel the next morning, and told them we had an issue with the water temperature in our room. They told me that was normal, depending on what time you take a shower, that all I needed to do was turn it to warm, and wait about five minutes, and the water would get hot. I don't know the first thing about how the "water system" works in hotels, but have never had to deal with this before. We had the same thing happen the next morning, and evening. My daughter played travel softball and Division 1 softball in college, so I've spent many nights in hotels, and I never once had to complain about not having hot water wherever we were staying, even in the hotels that were less expensive than others. On a positive note, we greatly appreciate this hotel offering a lower room rate if you have a loved one at the Heart Care Center as a patient, that was a big help to us. August 24, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nasty carpets, Great staff The carpets in the hotel are filthy. I wouldn't expect to have to wear shoes in my room. For the price, I would expect at least some complimentary fruit for breakfast. Other than those minor complaints, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable. August 21, 2015
