The staff were very friendly and made us to feel very welcome. The breakfeast was amazing. The rooms were clean and the beds were great sleeping. The restaurant meals were excellent and very reasonable in price. We will come back, that's for sure.

From beginning to end this place knows how to treat a guest. The staff was professional and friendly the whole stay. The condition of the rooms and hotel was fantastic. This was a one night get away to meet family from Milwaukee. We had never stayed here before and will be back at least 2 or 3 times a year.
If you are looking for service the old fashioned way of putting the guest first this is the place to be.

We stay on hotels up to 200 nights per year for business and for pleasure and we selected this hotel as we were working at the Ryder Cup in Medina in September/October 2012.
This is our favourite hotel for staff and environment spoilt only from the road noise, but after the first day that paled into insignificance.
The staff were exceptionally good, both check-in and restaurant.
The free shuttle bus to Medina was a real unexpected benefit and as we had to get to the Golf very early on two occasions (0540) the shuttle was available for just the 2 of us - wow what service.
The bar/restaurant service was A1 and the Manager the very best we have seen anywhere. The road noise - insignificant in relation to service. All time favourite hotel.

I visited the hotel with my family for a weekend get away and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel accomodations, quality of service and cleanliness of rooms. I travel a lot and usually stay more than 200 days of a year at different hotels. This is one of the very good Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and always have an excellent stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. They treat Priority Club members like royalty. Free drinks, upgrades, extra points. You never know what they'll surprise you with. Bar and restaurant are great. The building is always clean from the rooms to the pool. This is one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at and will be back again.

I stayed at this location with two other colleagues for a night; we were greeted with a smiling face at the front desk and our keys to our rom were ready as soon as we walked up. We were a bit hungry and asked about the restaurant, the food was good and and comforting. Plus we had some fun watching the bartender entertain the bar guests with some fun game.
Rooms were comfortable and tempature was good especially on a cold night outside.
Breakfast was great in the morning.
Overall, a business travelers needs were met at the location. I will stay here again.

the front desk was very attentive and changed my room as i reqested. While the whirlpool was not working the first day i was there, it was up and running the next morning, as promised. The waitstaff was very (sometimes a bit too) atttentive and on the second day @ brunch he actually remembered what I had requested the day before (tea, black..tomato juice..glass of ice water) and brought it out while i was getting my buffet. Oh and the buffet was nice too, little touches like salsa for my eggs and greek yougurt for my fruit. I was very pleased with my stay.

Overall the stay was Good, but I think the hallways were a little dark and not very welcoming. The Lobby and main area was nice, restuarant appearance was nice and rooms were fair. Seems as the rooms were updated besides the bathroom. It was a little dated with not a very clean/pure look about it.
Bed was fine and other things in the living area, just the bathroom.

So I am a gold priority memember, I didnt receive any additional . my request for extra pillows was not given. I was not offered an upgrade of any kind , I was put in a room next to a room of screaming kids and was told I could not be moved. If you are a business traveler,,, DO NOT stay here. However the bartender at the time was very nice, and I think she did a good job.

Just always look forward to staying at this hotel the staff are some of the very best I meet in my frequent travels. They really do take care of me and my colleague and we will continue to keep coming back.

Requested a room with a king bed and a pull out couch, but it took three tries for the front desk to get us the correct room. The first two rooms they gave us had a king bed and a chair, not a pull out couch. One would think that the front desk would know their inventory of rooms? Once we had the correct room, the room was decent, except that it must have been on a smoking floor because even though we did not smell smoke in the room itself, the hallways smelled strongly of smoke.
Then we go to the "allegedly" remodeled pool area with hot tub and sauna. The pool area looked new and nice, but the sauna did not work at all and the hot tub was warm at best and after complaining about the hot tub, a service man came, pumped cold water into the hot tub and told us to wait about 15 minutes for it to get hot again but it never got hot again. As a matter of fact, the hot tub was still cold the next morning and unusable. For all of this inconvenience, we were given a few free drink vouchers (but the bar closed at 11pm on New Year's Eve - go figure!) and a measly $20 credit off of the room rate.
Lastly, we were told that the pool would be open until midnight on New Year's Eve when we booked the room, but the guard kicked us out of the pool area at 11pm even though many families were still swimming in the pool. Not a great way to ring in the New Year!!
The only bright spot was the hotel's breakfast buffet in the morning. It was fairly priced and the food was surprisingly good as it was hot and fresh. So at least we got to leave on a good note.

The room was clean, spacious, and very well appointed. Great value. The bed, very comfortable. Although I did not eat in the resturant, we did stop for a night cap and it was a good experience. The exercise room was clean and also well appointed. Pool and whirlpool were clean as well and enjoyable. We were in town for a conference at a hotel near O'Hare. The Holiday Inn Chicago West - Itasca was just a short drive to O'Hare. I will come back with my son for vacation. Highly recommended.

While traveling to Ohio we stayed at this Inn and was very disappointed that the room I was given was not cleaned from the previous guest even though we arrived after the 3:00 check-in. On the way home from Ohio when we got to the Inn we were told that there was no hot water for showers or washing up after spending a good amount in the car traveling. It was not until the next morning we could get in the shower.

I'm sorry, but I was not impressed. I picked this hotel because it had a 4 star rating. I do not feel it was 4 star. We could never keep our Internet connected. The room just seemed so-so clean.

Holiday Inns can vary in quality. They are not my typical first choice. This stay was for a group event though and I applauded the choice. I was especially pleased with the staff; Luis at the bar and Uli the event planner made our event and my own stay easy, fun and enjoyable. Kudos!

I stay at this hotel fairly often. The location is perfect for Chicago area business. The food is VERY good here, best I have had in any Hotel. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. A Great Value for the money.
Oh yes, Beds are comfy.

My husband, two of our friends, and I came to this hotel excited for a short, but fun weekend.
I'll list the good first. The hotel is beautiful, the lobby, the pool, and the rooms/decor/etc. My husband and I had a great room. It was nice and clean, everything worked well, the staff even got us a mini fridge to store some of our leftovers. We had a good stay.
Now, the bad. First, when we walked in the door, the two ladies at the front desk were TERRIBLE. They looked at us like we shouldn't be there and that we were disrupting their lives by coming to stay. Needless to say, not great on the first impressions.
My other friends had our second room that we reserved and there was nothing, but bad from the time they stepped foot in the room. The AC didn't work so they called to see if someone could come and help fix it. The front desk said they would. We left to go out shopping and to eat, but when we got back nothing had changed. My friends called and asked if they could send someone up, have a room change or anything since it was sweltering in the room, but they just said they couldn't do anything about it. Then they just asked for fans to help keep them cool, and the staff said "ok". When they came up however, it wasn't a box fan or an oscillating fan or even a window AC, it was one of those big huge fans that dry floors after you've carpet cleaned or mopped a floor.
Again, not great on the service end of the things.
Also, their toilet didn't flush well and there was a room service tray outside of the door for our entire stay (which wasn't that long, but still, overnight and more than a couple of hours).
My husband and I had a good stay, minus the front desk looks of death, but my friends definitely did not. At all.
Customer service didn't seem to be their biggest priority and I doubt I would stay there again because of it.

This was the best stay at a hotel that I have ever had. The decor in the room was beautiful. The housekeeping was immaculate, and the maintenance service was outstanding and extremely prompt. Everyone in the hotel was very gracious. I would not consider staying at any other hotel in this area.

I just found this hotel on the internet and had no idea what it was really going to look like. I was glad when I saw it, because it is new, clean, and very nice with all the amenities. It was a short stay, but I slept well, and felt good about the hotel and even ordered breakfast from room service and watched movies in the room both nights because I felt I could afford to since the rate per night was so reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would stay there again when I am in the area.

Wow, I was very impressed by the look, feel and comfort at this Holiday Inn! It is very well decorated and beautiful, my room was comfortable, roomy and beautiful and I feel it was a GREAT deal for the money! I also appreciated the free shuttle to my office. Great job Holiday Inn!!!
