My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. we were able to check in easily. The room was very nice and clean. The staff staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the room price seemed high to me for a hotel in Jackson.

This hotel is comfortable and well kept, with very pleasant staff who are willing and eager to serve and please. Rooms are kept clean and up to date with all the necessary amenities. We've stayed here many times and always ask for the top floor...it's quieter! (even better...top floor, facing the back --- usually see wildlife in the fields.)

While the staff and facilities were certainly up to Holiday Inn standards, our room was not as it was next to the elevator shaft. This made a loud, persistent rumble every time the elevator moved. We masked it with iPhone apps and rigging the fan on the AC unit to run all night on high speed but this should not be necessary in a quality hotel. The facility was full so we were unable to move our room.
For the price, a simple breakfast should be complimentary.
Will avoid this property next time I'm in Jackson.

I loved it that the manager gave us the wedding block rate even when it was sold out. Very professional and YES! Everyone was considerate, friendly and professional. The breakfast food is not good and NOT free, either. I expected something complimentary as in the other Holiday Inn Express hotels, but there are a few fast food drive throughs around which are better than the buffet there. One other down point: Get the map and look carefully. Your GPS won't find this one and the verbal directions you may get from the staff are complex and hard to follow.

Restaurant good and staff is great been here on and off for a year now, always been a good experience they take the time to learn your name ......even if your there for one or two nights only. Highly recommend it.

We were in town to visit family and really were pleasantly surprised by this nice hotel. My nieces and I event went swimming in the pool. We met a few friends for drinks and then later for breakfast at the restaurant and it was good food at good prices with good service.

This hotel was just what we were hoping to find in Jackson - clean and professional at a good value. We had stayed there a week ago before we went on our honeymoon and my wife left a pair of shoes in our room. When we returned a week later they had her shoes at the front desk waiting for us. We could not have asked for much more!

I always enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn when I come to Jackson. Very comfortable rooms and friendly staff. However, my first two rooms seemed to be occupied so I hope that you can fix the scheduling. Luckily, the people were not in there. Thanks!

I have been staying at this hotel for a couple of months before this last incident. I love this hotel. The rooms are always clean, their restaurant and bar staff are amazing. The food is great. But, at my last stay when I found out that the room wasn't booked using my points, I asked the front desk staff what i could do to change that. His response is that not to worry about it that i can just pay and to call the point rewards center at a later time to get reimbursed. When I did, the rewards center called the hotel to confirm their statement and the hotel denied that that happened. I didn't get reimbursed and have switched hotels while I am in town now,

Had a large group of rooms for out of town guests for a wedding. Fantastic rooms and great staff! Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty and the bar staff were spot on. Website should probably mention that its located behind Meijers to cut down on confusion.

Very poor. Small variety of food and even those were empty for long periods. I'd go to a nearby restaurant next time. I've been to a Holiday In Express in another city with a FREE continental breakfast that is better.

Restaurant service is too slow mainly during breakfast. If I order room service they did not honor coupon. When I went down it takes for ever. other than this issue everything else is fine.

The location of this HI is wonderful for us. The staff is helpful and the room was comfortable. The Restaurant was small and under staffed but the waitress did a wonderful job with a positive attitude.

The property is very well kept and we stay there a lot. The room was comfortable and clean. For this type of hotel, there should be at least a continental breakfast included and coffee available past 9:30 AM when the restaurant closes. As an IHG rewards member, I would have expected that at least to be mentioned at check in and something additional offered. This is the case at other Holiday Inns. Bottom line: Nice place, very few perks.

A friend and I took her 3 nieces and 2 nephews to the hotel to celebrate their birthday. We had done a lot of looking online before booking and we were miss led about the kids suites at holiday inn. What we found online were fun spacious rooms that would be great for staying in with many rooms. When we got in to the room there was no fun decorations that the kids would like, they did not have a game system like it said there would be online, there was no dvd player even though I had called up there and was told there was one. For being a kids suite that should have been more special than a normal hotel room it did not seem special and worth the price we paid. The only real difference I saw from a regular hotel room is that instead of having two beds and one tv, it had one king bed, bunk beds for the kids, and another tv. The kids area was separated by a partial wall so it did not really work to have two different things going on the tvs because everything could be heard in the whole room. We were also wanting to take the kids swimming and two of the kids are under two years old so we were excited that there was a kiddy pool that we would be able to easily use with them, but after checking in we found out that it was closed which made swimming with the kids harder. In the morning the pool was also closed for cleaning during a time when it was suppose to be open so if we had wanted to go swimming before checking out we would not have been able to. My friend and I will not be staying here again it is not at all what we were looking forward to and should not have cost as much as it should have we were not happy at all with the room. The only nice thing about the room was the spacious bathroom, but even in there the toilet paper is pretty far away from the toilet making it had for the kids when they need it.

The staff was outstanding, the roon and resturaunt were great. The only negative comment I can make is the eliptical in the workout area needs to be replaced. Eleipticals are my exercise of choice, and the unit a the Jackson HI didn't work worth a darn and needs to be replaced. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

After a long day I arrived at the hotel and checked in. I recieved the keys to my room and they did not work. I go back to the desk and get the keys reprogrammed. I go back to my room and the room is occupied! The front desk did a good job of correcting the problem however it should have not happened in the first place. Made for an uncomfortable stay.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn for a business meeting. I really liked the overall hotel experience and would stay there again. You really have to be looking for this hotel as Bob McClain Dr. is not in any GPS. When you call the hotel they give you the address to the Meijer on Airport Rd. (which sits in front of this hotel), they might want to change their address on their website. The breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful, but the luncheon (a taco bar) that was set up for our group was quite disappointing.

This is a very nice new hotel, location was great. Close to restaurants and grocery. Disappointed breakfast wasn't included. The restaurant within was okay but seemed like lacking staff during peak breakfast hours. Very disappointed in the pool, the water was cold and no hot tub. They had a kiddie pool which basically an area with 1 foot of water for little ones to splash in. Based on the size of the hotel they could have had the pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool.

Everything started so great until an hour after sitting in the room we started to see some bugs showing up... At the end we have to move to another room and everything was OK after that. Happy end but with adventure. :-)
