This was my first visit to Jaipur,and needless to say ,a big whopping Thanks to Holiday Inn Jaipur,i will certainly go back again.Everything was so amazing,i booked a reward night and they gave me a free upgrade to a suite ,which was on the highest floor.In addition to that,i enjoyed the neat facility ,not to forget breakfast and dinner buffet was sumptuous.Totally loved the pool and puppet show and prompt room service.The hotel staff was very friendly and informative.All i can say is that if you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Jaipur ,close to all major tourist attractions(Jaigarh fort,Amer Fort,Jalmahal etc ,then it has to be Holiday Inn since best surprise is no surprise.Thank You Holiday Inn.

A decent hotel in Jaipur, being a platinum member they did recognise but refuse to offer free wifi or breakfast etc,
Hotel is nice , good location clean and staff who try.
Check out was a mess i told the lady to write my companys name which she said cant be done due to system !!!!! Was she kidding me i stay over 200+ night a year and she tells me this story. she was just lazy to type one line, later she could manage , horrible experience. They somehow mixed up in billing as well. Very unprofessional
Other then that its ok.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. As I was fasting and was not sure of what would be available for me to eat, the staff made me very comfortable with the buffet. They made sure that I had enough choices. The price was excellent for the service. I don't plan on going back to India, but I will recommend this hotel to all my friends that have to travel to Jaipur.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Jaipur in the last month of Dec'12 as a part of Rajasthan trip. Well greeted by front desk people. Quick check in, and surprised that i was upgraded to suite without any extra charge. thank Guys. Good nice and clean room. Prompt service. Had a light meal in restaurant. services and food was good.
Morning breakfast was up to mark.
They had a nice swimming pool and gym but due to shortage of time and cold weather couldn't enjoy it.
Over all a good value for money. I definitely recommend this hotel.

With a platinum elite status i was amazed to get only 1 hour complimentry internet throughout for that day. Further to this, i was denied a free upgrade and the reason shared was that i was not eligible for an upgrade to a suite. which the customer service had confirmed that it is provided to all platinum status memebers. Also, with platinum status, should have also received complimentry breakfast for my stay.
They way the hotel staff operated was poor.
Property is decent.

We enjoyed our stay so much the first night and decided to come back here for another night after visiting Udaipur on the way back to Delhi.
This is a very popular hotel for foreigners. The value is obvious. Hope it will provide free internet service in the future, that's the only inconvenience we encountered.

I booked this hotel due to it being part of the Intercontinental hotels group and my Platinum membership of their loyalty scheme. I booked 2 rooms about 6 months before my stay, at an average rate for Jaipur.
First thing that made me a little cross was that, the rate was reduced to half, when I checked before my stay!!! But be aware that the cancellation policy is 48 hours before for Best Rate bookings, most hotels are 24 hours??? Anyway I mentioned it on check in but the reception didn't really care and told me that rate didn't include breakfast and taxes and that he had upgraded me.... Well that rate did include breakfast, agree didn't include taxes but neither did the original booking, and I would have been upgraded anyway whatever I booked as I had Platinum status!!! If they had given a more acceptable excuse then Id be fine but I don't really like being LIED too.
Please note that even with Platinum status and a suite room doesn't give you free wifi!! Instead they are quite happy to charge you extortionate prices!!!
Rooms were clean but did have birds cooing, which was quite annoying in the morning. Also please note that the crisps/ potato chips which are conveniently placed next to your complimentary water aren't actually complimentary, even in a suite room. Again they will happily charge you for them on check out.
On a positive note the staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming.
So overall, I stay with the Intercontinental chain quite a bit but I'm sorry I wouldn't stay here again, even if they paid me or gave me any bonus points! The hotel seems to be very money making orientated, without the customer satisfaction. It was actually quite sad as this was the first time my friends stayed at a Holiday Inn, they said they wouldn't stay at a Holiday Inn again due to our experience.
