Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Below Standard I am a big IHG fan, but it is difficult for me to find anything positive to say about this hotel. From the outside, this hotel looks a little like an abandoned building; the structure is dirty and there a few people about. The lobby is similarly barren. From start to finish our experience at this hotel was the feeling of a business that is is not doing well and looking for any possibility of extra income. This is shown by the free internet being limited to obe device, no pens in the guest rooms, and lights in the public areas being kept off most of the time. Service was also very poor, bordering on rude and abrupt at times. February 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Memorable experience Though I stayed here for only one night, the experience remained memorable. The hotel ambience and décor suits the city of Jaipur. It's situated on the main road towards the Amer Fort and so easy to find. Close to the city center and easy to get transport (auto rikshas). Booking a taxi from the hotel travel desk is somewhat expensive, though. January 8, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK place but overpriced The hotel and the restaurant / bar is OK but approx. 5 times overpriced. Check-In was long and heavy-handed, all the service was basic. We had to ask twice to get batteries for the TV remote, no free WiFi was provided and in the bar the staff treated us like tourists in a bazar (Where are you from? First time in India? How do you like it? ... They even read our postcards!). There are better and cheaper places to stay!! January 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and comfortable place I visited Jaipur from 26th December 2013 to 30th December 2013. I enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn. The rooms are well appointed and the staff is highly hospitable. The location is convenient to visit forts and other sight seeing places in and around Jaipur. Live music played on "Jal-tarang" in the evenings was quite a delight for the ears. However, I was not quite satisfied with the wi-fi facility provided to Platinum member of IHG. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Locality and Accomodation The hotel is in the perfect location to visit all of the fantastic sights, such as Amber Fort, The Water Palace, etc. There are good restaurants and shops to visit surrounding the hotel which gives you alternative options to the hotel restaurant, however the food is very good and reasonably priced at th hotel. Pool area is nice and relaxing and the outdoor area is very pleasant. Rooms are of a good quality and large in size, very clean and staff friendly and helpful. December 4, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by i can't believe it's a holiday inn,not good. it's out of the city center, the location is not good. the servise is not good, everyone in the hotel is so cool. the room is old, the shower is slow and small water, not comfortble. i am the most unsatisfy is it's no free wifi, but the web i booked the room said it's free for IHG menber. so, it's a bad stay in Jaipur, only thing i recommed is the indian restaurant , it's very good.
