Very Comfortable and Clean. Stayed before a 7 am flight.Close to airport two shuttle vehicles so no problems getting transportation to airport

Based on our previous experience with this hotel corporation, we expected the room to meet the needs of my husband who is handicapped. The only two features that were handicap friendly were the roll-in shower and grab bars. The overall size of the room and bathroom was too small for adequate handicap accessibility. There was not enough counter space in the bathroom. There was simply not enough space in the room for suitcases (2) and a wheel chair. The lighting was poor and the internet difficult to access.

I missed my late evening flight from JFK on the Thursday before the Memorial Day weekend. Most of the area hotels were fully booked - the JFK Holiday Inn had a room available and I was happy to find a plce to stay. I arrived at the hotel tired and very grumpy. The first person that came in contact with at the front desk greeted me with a smile and excellent customer service skills. She had me headed to my room very quickly and in a much better mood. I found the room very neat and clean with nice furnishing and very thoughtful amenities (like a number of easy to access electric outlets). I went to the Hotel Restaurant for dinner and was greeted by another very friendly and professional staff member. My dinner selection was served very quickly and exactly to order. I checked out very early the next morning to catch another flight and the staff member at the front counter was just as friendly, courteous and professional. I may never find myself in this area needing a hotel again - but if I do, you can bet I will book the JFK Holiday Inn.
