Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great conference hospitality Our stay was very comfortable. The safety of the hotel should be kept up. Being close to the shopping center was an added advantage. Not having dineer served in the dining hall was an inconvenience since the food came cold from the 9th floor service/kitchen December 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great , especially for IHG members Get your IHG membership before coming to this hotel and get access to the VIP lounge for free which has simple foods and drink most of the day. Had a small problem with my key not working repeatedly but they fixed my door and all was well. Location is walkable from the Sandton Gautrain station and they even have a shuttle if you need one. Food was good but the menu was simple. (possibly only while they fix the restaurant kitchen) Overall very satisfied. December 9, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worth every penny Great hotel it the holiday inn stable . good value for money , good location , nice rooms , a great bar on the 9 floor . they got a room for the priority members that you can relax it is a nice touch . plenty of parking. the breakfast did not looks so exciting . on the bad side of things . my first room i got was opposite the service lift and the cleaning ladies were making a commotion . my second room was on construction side . so if you have a spare moment to rest during the day from meetings forget it . Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Customer Service I have 4 reasons for rating the customer service of this hotel so poorly : 1. I phoned for a quote for the airport shuttle, I advised that there would be 4 of us in the party – the quote I was given was R530 – however, after discussing it with my colleagues and phoning back 10 minutes later to confirm, the price had been increased to R190 per person. 2. I phoned the day before arriving to specifically request that I be allocated a room with a bath tub – I was assured I would be given one, and a staff member even phoned me back to confirm that this was a priority. However, the room I was allocated for my stay only had a shower and no bath tub – to add insult to injury there was not even a complimentary shower-cap in the bathroom. 3. When I checked out, although my company was covering my accommodation costs, I needed to pay the R190 for the shuttle. I have just checked my bank statement and I see that R200 was debited from my account and not R190 as per the invoice. 4. I sent a private email to the hotel to advise of them of my disappointing stay and a week later I have still not received an acknowledgement of my email - perhaps I will receive a response to this public review.
