Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service - Wi- Fi I have never given a Holiday Inn Hotel a poor rating until now. The Wi-Fi service in the room was awful. We switched rooms after spending 1.5 hours trying to get a decent Internet connection only to run into the same problems in the room we switched to but now in a more run - down room. The front desk personnel acted very disinterested in being of help during our three day stay. We had stayed there earlier in 2015 and lost a pair of etyeglasses. We had inquired about seeing if they might have been found by the hotel staff via phone prior to our recent stay. No return phone call from them and no concern or effort to check lost and found for us during our current stay. Frustrated by indifference about Wi-Fi connection and not checking lost and found although asking the staff two or more times during our most recent stay. August 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by stay here a lot This is actually a decent hotel in a GREAT location close to all the restaurants in the area. The staff is great and I have stayed here on all my visits. It is a clean place. However, it is getting a little old and needs to be redone, especially the rooms that are a little worn. There are not enough outlets. The biggest issue is the internet connections that are spotty at best. I have had this problem on 4 different stays. Dropped connections and rooms with no internet. I stay here almost every month on business. The price is very good. I think due to the internet issues i may try the HI express down 2 exits. However, it is a good value and always clean. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel in East Tennessee As a person who travels 7-8 months of the year. The staff and their personal service at 101 W. Springbrook in Johnson City, Tn. is EXCEPTIONAL. Nicole's friendly,smiling and helpful attitude rises above all. She took the time and helped me book a last minute wedding reservation, researching 3 other IHG properties in the area and found the best one suited for my needs. As a card member of 3 other hotel chains. This facility is a shinig star. Her attitude makes all the difference in the world. She turned a stressful day into stressfree.
