Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Staff Deliver Terrible Service I was disappointed to say the least at the level of service received from the front desk staff. I thought it was just the night girl so I reported it to the front desk manager the next day. Turns out she was just as bad, if not worse, so now I know where it stems from. It is important to realize sometimes it's not even the message that is delivered but the way it is delivered that sticks with you. I asked for a bottle of water or at least a place to find one. You would think I was asking for gold. I won't be returning and the Holiday Inn can now chalk up losing a good customer to a 50 cent bottle of water and the rudeness of the Johnstown front desk staff. December 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice hotel We were in Johnstown to visit a relative in the hospital. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was decorated beautiful for Christmas. The lobby and bar sofas were very nice for us to visit with local friends. My husband and I actually got engaged at the Holiday Inn Dining Room 25 years ago! The window tables offer a very nice dining experience. The menu breakfast was abundant and very tasty but the Sunday breakfast buffet was average. The fresh fruit was good but the pastries were very dry. Pancakes were good but the sausage was tough (Sunday). The rooms were very clean and the room darkening blinds helped us get a full night sleep. I do wish there were queen beds instead of full size (two adults with kids). The ambiance is really nice, there are several different areas to hang out in, the food is good and the wait staff is attentive. December 1, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place Above average for a "city" Holiday Inn. A bit awkward having to park in the garage and walk over, particularly in the rain. Pool is very nice. Fitness center has very little to offer but this is standard with Holiday Inns. Furnishings in room were newer and modern, but no USB ports for electronics / charging. Restaurant is a bit too high end for my taste in a Holiday Inn. November 24, 2014
