Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't judge a book by the cover. This is among the oldest of hotels in the IHG system that I have stayed at. My initial impression as I entered the parking lot was not a good one. However, the staff was extremely friendly, the interior of the hotel was updated and clean, and the room was very quiet and comfortable. The property was conveniently located for our visit. We checked in around 6:00 pm and never heard any noise at all. he room was very clean and everything was perfect. I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone. August 26, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hot Rods in the Parking Lot They hotel was hosting a hot rod show - nobody asked if we were a part of the show so they could but us as far away from the engine revving - they put us in a room on the ground floor on the side of all the cars. When I complained to the manager on duty the response was "It is their event and there is little we can do." really -- if the event was being held inside and was too loud wouldn't you mention it to them. So the next day, the battery in our door died so we couldn't get in - we waited 30mins in the hall for engineering to break into our room. Only to find that housekeeping knew the door didn't work and never reported it because the room hadn't been refreshed - so know at 8:30pm we had to wait for housekeeping to clean the room. After another 30 mins - the manager finally called (no she didn't take the time to come to the room to make her personal apologize) and at 9:00 she offered us dinner in the hotel restaurant - and again we had to listen to hot rods in the parking lot till after 10pm. I have already contacted Priority Club to get my points reversed for the days we didn't spend and the 2 days that were way below the Holiday Inn standards. August 25, 2014
