Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by our stay Loud guests in the hall of our room. We did not report we did not want retaliation. They were drunk. I stopped at the desk to tell the man to check his hallways better toilet needed work. Would not flush i reported this at the desk Both times the men at the desk were not friendly,. We could not use the hot tub Saturday night. There was a childs birthday party and the kids were in the hot tub. Obviously this hotel is not for us. Too centered towards young people and party September 17, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Power outage stay at Holiday Inn For as much as i paid for the night i would have hoped for a continental breakfast or at least a fridge in the room. We brought perishables because our power went out and we figured a nice hotel like the Holiday Inn would have a fridge in the room. Other than that the beds were amazing along with the pillows and i slept like a baby. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. Room temperature was perfect and the TV was easy to use. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Need to improve cleanliness I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival, we found used towels in the bathroom and stains on the kids bedding. The following day, we left the room (no do not disturb sign was placed on the door) and when we returned to the room that evening, it had not been cleaned. Unacceptable. September 3, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TINY rooms! The rooms(I visited a relative in another room) are VERY small! And so is the bathroom. Counter top could not hold husbands shaving equipment and my cosmetics. Yes, the bed was comfortable--for sleeping not for sitting. While there was room for a comfortable chair, there was none, only the desk chair which wasn't at all comfortable to sit in and watch tv or read. Light bulbs were burned out on 2 of the lamps. Third floor guests need more than one packet of coffee in their rooms...it's not fun to have to get dressed, go down to the first floor, then carry coffee upstairs. Sparse menu in restaurant...buffet and menu offer mostly fried stuff, little fruit...not good variety on menu. September 3, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable accommodations, not great attention to detail The rooms are clean and comfortable; however my experience with the staff left much to be desired. The gentleman I interacted with at the front desk was extremely mechanical in his approach to customer service and made me feel like I had done something wrong when the key he had given me did not work in the door. Also, in the room in which I stayed, there was a bright light from the courtyard that shined directly into my room and did not turn off until midnight. Since there was no way to draw the heavier curtains, that meant that there was a light shining in my face until midnight each night! Simple things to fix, but unless they are fixed I would not stay here again. August 26, 2014

Closed early one night to update computer system- I understand the need but I really think they could have waited the one extra hour until closing. My coworker and I missed dinner because of this. Breakfast buffet is overpriced for what is offered and service was really mediocre. Service for dinner the next night was excellent, but food was mediocre. The room was very nice, very comfortable. Nice beds and nice pillows. I would stay here again but think I would look elsewhere for dinner. August 25, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by general observations Actually, I prefer to stay at a Holiday Inn Express, since I don't need the pool. The Express units have much better bathrooms, refrigerators in the room, larger rooms, bigger beds, and free breakfast along with all the other services you provide. A much better value. I stayed for 6 nights again this trip and 2 days that my room was cleaned, cleaning rags had been left behind and the room floor was dirty. Then one day they did not get to my room till after 5pm so i passed on that. The GPI corp rate went up and the perks went down. I think we will be looking to stay somewhere else going FW. Seems that the atmosphere at this hotel is going to be different. August 11, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This Hotel went to the DOGS! Stayed here for a tour of WMU. After checking in we were greeted by a large dog barking in another room. They moved us to the next floor only to hear it louder. Moved us again to have another dog across the hall. I figured after 3 moves I'd turn up the fan and deal with it! I understand it's a pet friendly hotel but wouldn't you think they would keep the rooms in a block, not scattered around? I think for allergy reasons that would be appropriate. The last room smelled of mildew and the chair's leather was nasty. The bartender I had was rude to say the least! More interested in playing with her phone, never gave a total or said thanks! I'll be in this area a lot in the future and would never stay here again!! August 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I was only there for 8 hours For a quick overnight stay I would say it was a good stay. There is no provided free breakfast. Our room window was facing the pool area and the room darkening drapes did not keep the light out from the pool area which made it annoying to sleep if you are used to sleeping in the dark. But at 11pm, I wasn't about to request another room with a sleepy toddler. July 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel, lousy bed, lousy AC unit. It is a nice and very clean hotel. But the Heating and cooling unit is an antique and was unable to control room temperature. Freeze or burn up. Only two choices. The Bed is the usual Holiday Inn type. Hard as a rock and for me that is a lousy nights sleep. The noise from other rooms can be heard through the walls which is another bummer. The Toilet which is the pressurized type is like a rocket engine when you flush. Too loud!!! Then it does not refill unless you jiggle the handle several times and then listen to tell if it is filling or just wasting water. July 25, 2014
