Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great KC Option! Wife and I stayed at the hotel three times over a course of two weeks while travelling in May. Two of the stays were outstanding......the third was only marred by housekeeping, who managed to leave someone's boxers in the closet, and their soap/shampoo in the shower....makes you wonder what else they missed. The rooms were very good, and the beds standard Holiday-Inn-exceptional (the main reason we stay at Holiday Inn's!). The bar and restaurant are good, but food least a limited menu......could be offered a little deeper into the night for late arrivals; there are no restaurants close by as an least two exits down I-29 to any type of real food. EVERYONE staffing the front desk was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Left my car for five days while I flew to California with no incident......$5/day long term parking with 4:30 AM - midnight shuttle service. Will utilize again during future trips to KC area.....overall, a very good hotel. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TOP NOTCH STAFF, NICE PROPERTY Warmly welcomed. Club member recognition upon arrival. A covered sidewalk curved from the hotel to the KCI Expo hall alongside ample complimentary parking. Front desk staff, especially Rachel, exceeded expectations during our stay. The property felt safe. Area rugs in the lobby area appeared worn around the edges. The breakfast buffet, similar to IHG Express fare, was not complimentary. Thanks to Mikki for a great job attending to our group. We enjoyed a nice view from our clean, spacious corner king room on the 5th floor. Our room included a microwave and mini-fridge, but rooms on the 6th floor didn’t. Instead there’s a public lounge area with group seating, TV, table/chairs, and microwave. No bath tub, but a tub-sized shower. Rusty bolts and grout needed attention in the shower along with the paint on some bath and room walls. Other amenities included a full length mirror, coffeemaker, desk with chair, arm chair, a decent sized closet, toiletries, but no shower cap. A quiet evening. Slept well. Appreciated the soft or firm pillow choices. Would stay again. May 17, 2015
