The restaurant is open at convenient hours and the food is always good. It's also conveniently located. No need to go anywhere else. October 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good time at Kansas City Airport Holiday Inn As a Platinum Elite IHG member, I travel quite a bit and will often stay at IHG properties. The service received during my recent stay at the hotel was the best yet. I was warmly greeted by Irma and Alex at the front desk. And then I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and again received great service from Pat. And as added bonus, the food in the restaurant was outstanding. I would absolutely stay at this property on my next trip to KC. October 11, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not so much I didn't think the room was very clean, but maybe it needs updated badly. The desk chair and ottoman were both dirty. The toilet had something on the lid. The breakfast I had was expensive considering that the fruit looked like it was several days old. Plus, your website says mini fridge, but when I arrived I was told that they were first come first served. I did have a good salad for dinner though. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good rate for the room, and since it was right next to the convention center I will consider staying again, but I found the room fairly disappointing. October 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty... Upon getting into the room, I went to turn on the A/C. I immediately noticed that there was something black and kind of furry on the louvers to the A/C unit. I took a closer look and it looked like mold to me. I went to the front and asked for a different room siting that my Dad already had breathing problems and I didn't want to risk his health. They agreed and gave me keys to a room down the hall. Same issue there. I went downstairs again to ask someone to come with me and look at the A/C louvers in either of the rooms and tell me what they thought. The head of housekeeping met me up there with a cleaning rag and wiped it off as best as she could. Even she said that she didn't think it was 'just dust.' She called maintenance in and they took the filter out to clean it (it was past the state of filthy). She wiped off the outside as best as she could again. I also later saw a hairball in the corner of the bathroom floor that I could have done without. :-/ So after over an hour, we were in a room that was hardly acceptable, but with 3 major sporting events going on that Sunday, good luck finding another place within 45 minutes that had immediate vacancies. I didn't have any luck anyways. There was no offer in any form of compensation. No complementary breakfast. Not even a muffin. I paid full price for a dirty room and went on my way. I wasn't even asked 'how my stay was' when I checked out, which may have been a good thing. This was my first bad experience with Holiday Inn, but it was bad enough for me to probably not stay at one again. October 8, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed. Glitch in booking, but no big deal. It was a quick stay, we got in late and left early. The only downside was slow breakfast service, and a meal that I thought was included which apparently wasn't. Used the shuttle, should have called earlier because it took longer than simply grabbing a car. Very comfortable room. October 8, 2014
