Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DDTV Great Hotel and Hot tub also close enough to Arrowhead
Had everything we needed, comfy beds with soft sheets. Shower pressure was nice too, bring your own shampoo. Nice pool, hot tub, workout room, breakfast buffet, staff was very helpful. Clean place, room smelled fresh. Right across street from the park, and close to just about everything else. Power light district, casinos, and Smokehouse BBQ, Zona Rosa etc. Broncos beat the horrible Chiefs and it was a great game! I would recommend a stay here

Coming on Thanksgiving Day with both my husband and I having head colds.
The person at the front desk was polite and friendly.
After checking in I came back out to ask where the ice was and the lady at the desk took pitty on me and ask if I would like a cup of hot tea for my throat...I said yes with my sore throat and greatfully took the two cups of very hot tea she brought me.
The resturant was closed for the day so we went to one of the eateries that are within walking distance. When the resturant opened we found the food to have good favor and was served hot.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Only the hall in the non-smoling area was filled with cigarette smoke. Thanks to some miss guided smoker.
For the price and convenance this place is great!
PS the creepy security guard was really nice and helpful too.

We stayed on our way north. Since the next day was Thanksgiving we wanted a hotel that had a restaurant. I chose Holiday Inn over Holiday Inn Express for the restaurant. Well, the manager decided to not open the restaurant. We ended up with packaged muffins and juice. Not what I was expecting for a Holiday Inn. We arrived at about 9:00pm. The desk clerk was very nice and apologetic about the restaurant issue. My granddaughters, my husband and I went to the pool that closes at 10:00pm. At about 9:50pm the creepy security guard began circling the pool area. He didn't say anything to any of us, just started walking the INSIDE perimeter of the pool area. OK, WE GET THE HINT!!! On a side note - the elevator smelled like the sewer line ran through it. Not the hallways or rooms, just the south elevator. The hotel looks like it has gone through some remodeling, the areas that we visited were clean and the staff was helpful and nice (except the security guy).

I swear the only people that ever writes a review are the ones that think they was supposed to be staying in a 5 star resort. I usually spend around 60 nights a year in a hotel room and this one is as good as you will find. The property is always clean and kept up, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a full bar with great food at a reasonable price. Also if you chose to leave and go some place different for a couple of drinks they have shuttle driver that will take you and pick you up at no charge (5 miles radius of the hotel)
If you are wanting a 5 star hotel go some place different and spend over $200 a night. I think you will find everything you need in at this hotel at a much cheaper price.

As a loyal Holiday Inn fan and user. Sleep at them over 75 nights each year, I was appalled by the manner in which I was treated. I had 3 nights reservations for a non-smoking room, When I arrived, late on the first day, I was told that they could not put me in a non-smoking room for all three nights. They had booked the room for 1 night with a tour group that needed the room. If ythis is how all Holiday Inns treated their loyal customers, I would no longer be one!!!

This property needs to be turned over to someone else.
It took the front desk person a good two minutes of us standing there before she even acknowleged we were there. She was on the phone and could have waved or something to let us know she knew we were there, but nothing.
She checked us in and needed a card for incidentals, so I gave her my debit card. She NEVER told me there would be a $20 charge on it until after we check out and then it will take up to 7 days for that money to be returned to your account.
When we got to the room we found out that the reservation I made on line didn't mean anything. I had reserved a smoking room. When I went up to ask why they said they gave all of those out before we checked in. (I of course tried to make sure I had a room and everything at 11:00 AM that morning, but they would NOT let us do check in or anything even with me say I don't need access to a room, just want to make sure my reservation is secure. She told me they do not give out these rooms - oversell.) The lady that checked us in didn't even appologize for not have a smoking room, she just said that happens.
The room was cramped and felt dirty. Come to find out the sample lotion they leave in the room for the guests had been opened and used by someone esle. How gross.
I will not ever go back to this property again. I realize I was using points plus cash for this room, but that is no reason to make me feel like dirt, I earned those points.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bob77 Tired old hotel
Close to the water park but not the greatest place. I was not offered an upgrade as a Platinum member. My room had no fridge and when I asked for one the told me they don't do that. The air conditioner was NOISY. Not what I expect from a Holiday Inn. There is a newer HI Express near-Go there
