Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not the greatest! Big let down! Real disappointed with the hotel and water park. No towels both days we were there. When we got to our room after checking in, it looked as if they were still in the process of cleaning our room? We did not have any towels/hand towels/wash cloths in the bathroom. The hotel was real run down and dirty/dingy looking. Parts of the ceiling in the hall ways were missing. The carpet throughout the hallways was stained and pretty disgusting looking. The elevators were very slow and only 2 out of the 3 even worked. I was told there were 2 other elevators, but they were only for the staff? The water park was not much cleaner; the water was a beige color? Just looked unclean and not kept up. Bottom line I would not go back, and would not recommend to anyone. This is the worse Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at!!! March 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good all around I had read some not great reviews about this hotel prior to staying there but gave it a chance anyway and glad I did. We went as a less expensive alternative to the other indoor water park in kc and it was a great value considering how much cheaper it was. I did not swim but the kids loved it. All staff that we came in contact with were friendly and very helpful. The room was average but clean with a pretty good view. March 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CoCo Key Spring Break overnight stay was a blast for the two 6 year old girls. I wouldn't suggest this place for kids over 8. They had a blast at the water park but we were disappointed that half the games in the arcade were broken. The room was clean and convenient. Overall it was a good stay. March 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty room Everything was great accept the cleanliness of our room. There were black private body hairs in the tub and on the floor. There was also trash under the night stand in between our beds. I just cleaned the bathroom so my kids had a clean tub to bath in. Then just put the track in the can. The sheets were not fresh smelling and I was not sure about the sheets being clean? Yuck!!! Other than that is was a good stay. March 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Spring Break 15 Kids had a blast. Hotel manager was friendly. Loved it that kids ate free! The arcade and watermark were fantastic. Refrigerator didn't work in room. Took 2 days before we received one that worked. The second day, we didn't receive room service therefore we didn't have clean towels. Had to talk to manager. He took care of the problem ASAP! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely AWFUL Experience The 1st room I was given had unflushed waste in the toilet. The room was really nasty. The 2nd room was better but the bathroom had a glob of someone else's hair on the floor. The staff also missed my morning wake-up call. The next day after working all day, I came in and there was someone's nasty fingernail clippings on the desk. Maybe I missed seeing them when I checked in, but if so, they shouldn't have still been on the desk if it had been cleaned/dusted that day. The bathroom floor had not been swept , and there was some dried sauce (looked like it was buffalo wing sauce) on the decorative throw [at the end of the bed]. The lighting was not great and I could not relax, wondering if anything had actually been cleaned. Robynn at the front desk was helpful and empathetic when I checked in, but the manager didn't bother to make contact or apologize or anything for the horrendous shape of the room. I didn't hear fro9m anyone about this. The good thing is, when I decided that I could not stomach another might there, they didn't charge me for that next night, even though it was past the cut-off time. the was no mention of my ihg status March 28, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by horrible, filthy, cheap I've stayed at multiple holiday inn and other hotels. This is by far the worst. Probably even worse than an unknown hotel. My bed sheets were stained, my fridge didn't work, found papers, other people's chargers on wall. Carpets extremely dirty and all stained. To top it off in the room I stayed there was so much condensation inside you could hear the water drip to the carpet from the window. I would like to know how much mold there is behind there. The water park was very nice, only thing is lazy river floor felt like it had sand, it was rough, water seemed dirty, but I felt comfortable I did at multiple times see staff testing water. Would I recommend this particular hotel No. Any other Holiday Inn, yes. March 28, 2015
