Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, but poor parking Overall a great hotel, and a very convenient location in a well serviced town. The only downside to this hotel is the parking, there are not enough spaces and those that are available are very narrow, a real problem owning to the amount of Range Rovers parked there. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Midlands Base Hotel and Great for Leisure Touring Great location for a little historic touring and visiting of the region in a nice safe low traffic and almost noise-free but busy market town. Easy parking, can walk to local pubs and restaurants too! Seeing the General Manager often checking on the operations is a positive thing and I saw him everywhere, in the lobby, in the on-site Starbucks, talking to staff! And never had a front desk member I didn't like, have stayed here every year for 7 years when attending events at either Stoneleigh or the NEC (nice 15 min backroad drive on the A452). Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel Needs improving This is a hotel based in Kenilworth and i use it as a standby hotel as i frequently cannot get into Stratford upon avon which is more convenient .I am afraid i am getting more fustrated with this hotel as once you could get an upgrade(Platinum member ) quite often but now they always say they are fully booked .The room (standard double ) was ok but was at back overlooking goods In i think , as all evening you had a steady knock knock knock on wall from a lift or motor of some kind thankfully it stopped overnight .The air conditioning problems in hotel seem to be fixed ,for my room at least . I decided to eat in restaurant both nights as room service menu very limited but am now regretting that decision .On first night i had the steak and asked for vine tomatoes (came with steak ) not to be roasted, they were and sent them back, waitress brought them back and said they had not, but then more experienced waitress looked at them after me commenting further and took them back and got cold tomatoes which i wanted (Roasted tomatoes give me indigestion ) .On the 2nd night had chicken and all seemed ok ,On both nights service was extremely slow, (cold starter took 20 minutes) even though there were max of 4 or 5 tables occupied , would not like to be there on a busy night . Wireless wifi was intermittent for my room and the log on page did not pick up all the time .My last comment is about parking it is limited and extremely tight,if you get there after about 6.30 forget it , but found out on last stay if full they have an overflow Car park but thankfully didnt have to use it . On a plus note reception staff were efficient and friendly .Just one thing where does it say in waitress handbook they have to tag "ENJOY" onto everyrhing November 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff very friendly/comfy beds/good location The staff were brilliant. Probably the best that I have experienced at a hotel before. As we were new to the area they were quick to give me directions to places I needed to go, and to call me taxi's. The beds were so comfy! The fact that there was two options to have either a soft or firm pillow blew my mind haha! I couldn't chose so just chucked them all on top of each other! Also I liked the location, me and a friend were off to a festival in Coventry that night so it was not too far to travel. And not to far from Birmingham which was the next stop on our road trip! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room Heating Etc The room's air con/ heating was not working properly, so the staff put in an electric room heater to help out. However the bathroom was still freezing. I also get the feeling the hotel is looking slightly down at heel, but the staff were fantastic. November 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent hotel, quality maintained I have used this hotel previously and the quality has been maintained. There were one of two gripes however, the dinner menu was a little small and on one eveng there was nothing I liked. however there are lots of places in the area to eat. The hotel is first class with a very helpful and friendly staff November 9, 2014
