Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location for Kenilworth/Warwick university All fine for a standard Holiday Inn, except for the fact the room we had was unbearably hot on our arrival (it was January and the outside temperature was 1 or 2 C. It took 24 hours for the room to cool down by switching the heating off and having the window open. By the time we checked out after 48 hours the room was a more normal temperature. A pity about this, as otherwise a pleasant stay. January 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs attention This hotel is in need of work!. Air conditioning allows no sleep, rooms are so warm in combination with Air Con issues it allows no sleep anyway! Breakfast was same quality as HI Express hotels - poor hot food selection which was cooked well in advance of eating! I would suggest shopping around January 21, 2015

The hotel was clean and modern, the staff was very pleasant, and when the restaurant remodel is completed, the shortcomings of the food service (currently limited evening dining, but thankfully there is a lot of great dining within a short walk from the hotel) and bar (the small bar get's too busy for bar staff to keep up) will be overcome. Pillows weren't to my liking, and housecleaning turned the temperature up each day while I was away, making the room uncomfortably warm for my sleeping preference, Connecting to the wireless internet was cumbersome, and the connection speed was generally slow, but it was better than nothing. Despite these criticisms, I'll definitely stay here again when visiting the area. January 16, 2015

The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms small but nicely re-furbished. A good place to stay just at the end of Kenilwortth high street a good location for either business or pleasure, January 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 comfortable room I have stayed in many Holiday Inns over Europe and England and have always been upgraded if there is a room available with my Priory Club Card. I was assured prior to arriving when I booked that this would be the case. However, on arrival on Sunday afternoon, presumably when no senior staff were available I was told that there were no Executive rooms available at all by a member of staff who was obviously not telling it as it was. As this was obviously not true, as the hotel was half empty I was not pleased. I just accepted this and was quite comfortable, but had requested a higher floor, which I was not given. January 4, 2015
