Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by manager with ambitions This is the kind of hotel with no atmosphere. A manager that rather threaten to fine the guests than talking with them. A reception that is only allowed to do what the American IT system allows Clean and well refurbished, with an aircondition that is noisy and either too cold or too warm A worn down staircase and 2 slow elevator Little water in the shower if you happen to be above 3’d floor. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NIce location - clean and modern I had read other reports stating that the staff were good but put little value on Priority club. I hoped this would not be the case but on arrival I noted that my Priority Club number was not logged. This was despite it being clearly noted on the form as sent by my booking agent. Subsequently I did not get any platinum benefits. Rooms are smaller than average but clean and modern. There is an adjacent starbucks which is useful. Overall a nice hotel in a nice town. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No minibar in the room and absolutelly small gym. I would put only the location of hotel as Pros. The rest is not that good as expected for such hotels. Surpizing that no minibar in the room. The mini gym is really MINI. Maximum for two people and running machine need definetelly to be change (old and noisy). January 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Regular stayer My work brings me to the Coventry area for a few days every few weeks. My hotel choice is always Holiday Inn and always Kenilworth. All of the hotel staff and management are friendly and respond quickly to any minor issues (heating/cooling etc) that have effected me. Breakfast is good and adequate but less than some other hotels and Holiday Inns. Rooms are clean and generally a decent size. I've even been in room 001, a disabled room when the hotel was full. This room is massive! Away from the hotel, Kenilworth town offers great evening entertainment with a few pubs, supermarkets, good choice of restaurant and a very locat bar/restaurant. By day there are some great walks and historic sights. The only downside for me is there are no rooms with a fridge which is very handy when staying 3 or 4 nights. January 8, 2013

IT WAS NOT UNTIL AFTER WE WERE IN BED THAT IT BECAME APPARENT THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER/HEATER HAD AN ANNOYING RATTLE DISTURBING OUR SLEEP AND WAS NOT GOING TO STOP. BY THIS TIME WE COULD NOT FACE DRESSING, REPACKING AND MOVING ROOMS IF IN FACT ONE WAS AVAILABLE. ON BOOKING OUT WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT WE NEEDED THE GATE KEY CODE TO LEAVE THE SITE, THIS HAD BEEN HANDED IN WITH THE KEY. ON ARRIVING AT THE GATE WE FOUND THREE OTHER GUESTS IN A SIMILAR POSITION AND MY WIFE HAD TO WALK BACK TO RECEPTION TO ASK THEM FOR A CODE. STAFF GENERALLY APPEARED TO BE MUCH LESS HELPFUL AND WELCOMING THAN OUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES AT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESSES. December 11, 2012

Rooms clean and well laid out. Staff helpful and friendly. Try and get a deal with breakfast included as at £14 per head there are cheaper alternatives across the road. October 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What a great hotel..!! I am having to work in Coventry for the next few months and have been staying in the Holiday Inn Kenilworth. What a great hotel this is!! The staff are very polite, professional and always willing to help. The hotel is in a great location for easy access into Kenilworth and Coventry itself. My room was immaculate and extremely comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good too!! Overall I am very impressed with this hotel and I will look forward to spending many more pleasant nights staying here in the future. October 18, 2012
