Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Kent, Was Great hotel, very quiet even though its right beside the freeway. We couldn't hear it. Room was very clean, and fresh. Front desk staff was excellent, and very helpful with maps, directions etc. The pool was closed due to winter,... Lots of free parking and Mitzel's is on the same property. (Mitzels was just ok)...The hotel is close enough to South Center, and other stores too! Yes we'd stay here again! March 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You can count on it!! I travel as a sales rep several days a month. This Holiday Inn located in Kent WA has become one of my favorites. The staff are so friendly and really do care about your stay. They take a few minutes to get to know you. The rooms are updated and most important, they are always very clean. The equipment in the rooms works well. It is one of those hotels you can just count on it being the same wonderful stop everytime. January 30, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too Many things wrong Spent a week on buisnees at this hotel. First night I thought it was me getting use to the bed as I woke up very sore. the next night could not sleep the bed was so uncomfortable. The hotel got me another room which was better but down the middle of the floor was a 4-6" gap that made the floor very uneven, I tollerated this because it was too much hassel to move again. If I would have been staying any longer I would have found another hotel. Could not find the night staff one evening. The earlier staff was very friendly and helpful. Won't be stay here again. We use the airport shuttle everytime and the drivers are always courteous and helpful, no matter what time of night. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and breakfast is always adequate and satisfying. Great place to stay! December 17, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this place! I have stayed here for years. I do long haul trucking all over the country and this hotel is my favorite. Everybody always treats me nice. They upgrade me to suites whenever possible. I like the restaurant next door. Its nice to come to a place where they know who you are and you know you will be taken care of. Its kind of like an express because they do the hot complimentary breakfast in the morning. Recommend the place. December 11, 2012

Got shuttled to hotel and back to airport next morning at no charge...enjoyed the free breakfast - nice to have scrambled eggs and sausages instead of just bagels and cereal....Staff really nice....Will be back next time in Seattle. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Value! I recently did a Park, Sleep and Fly at the Holiday Inn in Kent and was wowed by the price, service and comfort provided. We checked in late (10:30 pm) and ordered a shuttle for 4 a.m. (they run on the hour at this hotel) so missed the continental breakfast but the staff were awesome and made us "to go" bags filled with bagels & cream cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. in the morning. I left the car there for 8 nights and upon our return, the shuttle picked us up within 20 minutes, which is pretty darn good considering it takes about that long to drive from Kent to Sea-Tac. The one thing I would warn you about is that the "Queen" beds are actually Doubles and are quite short on top of that, so not comfortable if your sleeping with a friend or are of any height and cannot lay diagonally in the bed. Other than that, definitely a top-notch place to stay for a Park, Sleep and Fly! November 28, 2012

After arrival I was joking with the desk staff about there being no cookies out. After returning from dinner later, my girlfriend and I were greeted with a bag of 6 cookies. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by STAFF This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Each time I see more help in what ever I may need and to me this is great. This last 2 times was a supprise to me. When I was leaving from my first stay 8-20-12 I asked about your shuttle. I was told I could leave my car there and they would take me to the airport and then pick me up. I think this is a great extra for my trips. I will come back each time I have to travel by air. Thank for the good treatment. November 8, 2012

Staff has been friendly, efficient, a level above what you would expect from a "standard" hotel. The breakfast buffet includes hot items, lots of varieties and is well stocked. We'll be back! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst night of my life! Booked a room with a King sized bed for me and my wife but made the mistake of reserving a smoking room and wanted a non-smoking room. Called the hotel within 5 minutes of making reservation to see if they could make a change to non-smoking room, they changed me to a standard bed room for handicapped. When i arrived to hotel and went to my room upgrade, i come ti find out a small bed probably 5 feet wide and 6 feet long, no microwave and no refrigerator. Called the desk to try and change the room, i was told that all rooms were booked, maybe the following day i could have a different room. Staff was terrible, they couldn't tell me anything else, all they said was "sorry". Worst night ever, slept all night with feet hanging over the bed and room that was a third of the size of any regular room. Will be traveling to Kent, WA in the next few months and believe me i rather drive farther to another Holiday inn than to stay in this hotel ever again! Why put a Hospitality Promise and won't keep that promise? I was not happy with a part of my stay and I still had to pay for it!!! Staff did't even know that they had a Hospilaty Promise! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by staff and quiet and extras the staff were all so incredibly friendly and kind. the reception people were wonderful and helpful beyond the usual. the desk person told the breakfast person we were leaving early and he came in especially early so we had something to eat before leaving for the airport. there were extra little kindness such as a meal on tuesday night for all guests. our room was WAY in the back. it was a long hike but it was sooo quiet. we never heard a sound during our multiple day stay. the only suggestion i have is that i wish they would have had sugar free oatmeal choice in am.
