We stayed there for six nights, and we had a Suite. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Only the wooden floor are very LOUD, if you stay in the first floor :(
Great spot to do sightseeing in Seattle. Everything is very close (if the traffic is ok)

Booked a standard room and requested "King Non Smoking".
Room was 2 x Queen Bed and was told that request was for a handicapped room, (not sure where that came from), and that all Kings had sold out. Highly, highly unlikely that they were all "sold", more likely they had been assigned to earlier arriving guests.

This hotel was fine except the Jacuzzi and ice machine didn't work. we stayed there on 5/14 and arrived late and were told Jacuzzi was broken so no big deal. However we returned on 5/17 for another night and were told Jacuzzi was still broken. Then I went for ice and the machines on both floors were out. had to go to the machine outside. Needs some maintenance here. The free breakfast here was great even if it was a buffet. The shuttle service is great. The drivers are so friendly.

The room was located directly underneath the Gym. You can imagine. The refridgerator was so loud we had to unplug it in order to sleep. An uncushioned exit door to the rear parking lot kept opening and slamming shut all night. a plague infected individual across the hall kept hacking and coughing all night.
The Ice machine didn't work. Neither did the one on the second floor.
I guess that's all. I paid top dollar for a place to sleep, didn't get that. To say I as disappointed would be an understatement, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 01BusinessTraveler Not REALLY a Holiday Inn
I don't believe this run-down, poorly maintained sorry excuse for a hotel qualified for the Holiday Inn nameplate. If all Holiday Inns were like this one, I'd NEVER stay at HI again. Tip to Holiday Inn? Dump this hotel before it ruins your good reputation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Birthdaygirl36 great birthday!
My husband and I have stayed here a few times before. We always enjoy our stays at this property. Great Staff and value for the price.....But this was beyond our previous stays. My husband arranged a birthday weekend at this hotel and notified the front desk agent when making the reservation. After checking and arriving to our room, Management not only upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite at no charge but also had given us a gift basket with a birthday card and bottle of champagne wishing me a happy birthday!! This was without even asking! It was a very nice and touching gesture. This is what cutomer service is about!! We will continue to stay at this location in the future!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Seattle13 Good shuttle service, terrible room and surprising interaction!
We stayed here on our last day of vacationing in the Washington / Oregon area.
Great: The shuttle service to the airport was very convenient, the drivers were very courteous and polite.
Good: The breakfast was nice with fruit and wonderful omelets.
Bad: The room was bad, with two potholes in the room under the carpet, the toilet exhaust fan was rickety, loud and could not remove the odors from the bathroom, the carpet was stained near the TV cabinet, all in all really not a good room on the first floor. The window would not lock, but my husband fixed it.
Ugly: When we narrated the above to the front desk and mentioned that despite being priority club members we had been given a terrible room, we were suddenly 'acknowledged' as priority club members with a hasty rush of being presented with 3 bottles of water!!! Was pretty funny!
We had 5 consecutive stays at 4 other Holiday Inn properties just preceding this one and it was in stark contrast to the ones we stayed in, the best being the ones in Oregon.

I enjoy staying at this property. I come up a few times a year for work. I always get my platinum upgrade. One of the few Holiday Inns that offer a hot complimentary breakfast. They have the best staff. I always feel welcome and never have any issues.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shaz2 poor service and room was not as promised
I booked a wheelchair accessible room. It was with great difficulty we manuvered the wheelchair into the room. There was a sharp turn immediately upon entry. A larger wheelchair or scooter would find it impossible. We then saw a double bed.Very small for a man with 2 broken feet. Difficult for 2 people to share bed. The bathroom was difficult to get wheelchair in and to find it had no hot water!!! I went to the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. When I said that was not acceptable, they said I could move to the room next door with the same issues but it did have hot water. They also said they couldn't remember the last time anyone had used the wheelchair rooms. The night was terrible as things were constantly being moved above us.We were relieved to leave. This was our worst night ever at a Holiday Inn. When talked with the front desk I did suggest they tear a wall down between rooms to make it possible for a wheelchair to enter and also allow for a queen or king size bed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dsroterts Felt very welcome and accomodated
Upon our arrival, and all through our stay the staff was first-rate. Our 2-room suite was very accommodating with a very comfortable bed and a fold-out couch. It was very quiet so we slept well. The breakfast was above average for this level of stay, and to come home and have a cup of hot chocolate took away any Seattle chill.

Great hotel, very quiet even though its right beside the freeway. We couldn't hear it. Room was very clean, and fresh. Front desk staff was excellent, and very helpful with maps, directions etc. The pool was closed due to winter,... Lots of free parking and Mitzel's is on the same property. (Mitzels was just ok)...The hotel is close enough to South Center, and other stores too! Yes we'd stay here again!

I travel as a sales rep several days a month. This Holiday Inn located in Kent WA has become one of my favorites. The staff are so friendly and really do care about your stay. They take a few minutes to get to know you. The rooms are updated and most important, they are always very clean. The equipment in the rooms works well. It is one of those hotels you can just count on it being the same wonderful stop everytime.

Spent a week on buisnees at this hotel. First night I thought it was me getting use to the bed as I woke up very sore. the next night could not sleep the bed was so uncomfortable. The hotel got me another room which was better but down the middle of the floor was a 4-6" gap that made the floor very uneven, I tollerated this because it was too much hassel to move again. If I would have been staying any longer I would have found another hotel. Could not find the night staff one evening. The earlier staff was very friendly and helpful. Won't be stay here again.

I have stayed here for years. I do long haul trucking all over the country and this hotel is my favorite. Everybody always treats me nice. They upgrade me to suites whenever possible. I like the restaurant next door. Its nice to come to a place where they know who you are and you know you will be taken care of. Its kind of like an express because they do the hot complimentary breakfast in the morning. Recommend the place.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Laughs2Loud Excellent Value!
I recently did a Park, Sleep and Fly at the Holiday Inn in Kent and was wowed by the price, service and comfort provided.
We checked in late (10:30 pm) and ordered a shuttle for 4 a.m. (they run on the hour at this hotel) so missed the continental breakfast but the staff were awesome and made us "to go" bags filled with bagels & cream cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc. in the morning.
I left the car there for 8 nights and upon our return, the shuttle picked us up within 20 minutes, which is pretty darn good considering it takes about that long to drive from Kent to Sea-Tac.
The one thing I would warn you about is that the "Queen" beds are actually Doubles and are quite short on top of that, so not comfortable if your sleeping with a friend or are of any height and cannot lay diagonally in the bed.
Other than that, definitely a top-notch place to stay for a Park, Sleep and Fly!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Remy Never a bad stay
I have stayed at this location several times and NEVER had a bad experience. My last stay (Nov 2012) was no exception. After arrival I was joking with the desk staff about there being no cookies out. After returning from dinner later, my girlfriend and I were greeted with a bag of 6 cookies. When in the Seattle area, I will always stay at this hotel.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Each time I see more help in what ever I may need and to me this is great. This last 2 times was a supprise to me. When I was leaving from my first stay 8-20-12 I asked about your shuttle. I was told I could leave my car there and they would take me to the airport and then pick me up. I think this is a great extra for my trips. I will come back each time I have to travel by air.
Thank for the good treatment.

We've stayed at the Kent property a few times and have never had a problem. Rooms are clean, well maintained, comfortable. Staff has been friendly, efficient, a level above what you would expect from a "standard" hotel. The breakfast buffet includes hot items, lots of varieties and is well stocked. We'll be back!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KentWA2012 Worst night of my life!
Booked a room with a King sized bed for me and my wife but made the mistake of reserving a smoking room and wanted a non-smoking room. Called the hotel within 5 minutes of making reservation to see if they could make a change to non-smoking room, they changed me to a standard bed room for handicapped. When i arrived to hotel and went to my room upgrade, i come ti find out a small bed probably 5 feet wide and 6 feet long, no microwave and no refrigerator. Called the desk to try and change the room, i was told that all rooms were booked, maybe the following day i could have a different room. Staff was terrible, they couldn't tell me anything else, all they said was "sorry". Worst night ever, slept all night with feet hanging over the bed and room that was a third of the size of any regular room. Will be traveling to Kent, WA in the next few months and believe me i rather drive farther to another Holiday inn than to stay in this hotel ever again! Why put a Hospitality Promise and won't keep that promise? I was not happy with a part of my stay and I still had to pay for it!!! Staff did't even know that they had a Hospilaty Promise!

the staff were all so incredibly friendly and kind. the reception people were wonderful and helpful beyond the usual. the desk person told the breakfast person we were leaving early and he came in especially early so we had something to eat before leaving for the airport.
there were extra little kindness such as a meal on tuesday night for all guests.
our room was WAY in the back. it was a long hike but it was sooo quiet. we never heard a sound during our multiple day stay.
the only suggestion i have is that i wish they would have had sugar free oatmeal choice in am.
