Although I did not really enjoy my stay at this hotel, I did enjoy the room and the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The room I was given however, had someone in there so I had to go back to the front desk to get another room. Thank God it was on the first floor. The receptionist was very apologetic about it though. Also, this is the ONLY Holiday Inn I have been that does not serve complimentary breakfast.

CHECK IN: The staff while friendly and courteous, was reluctant to move me up to my preferred floor upon check in, so I did not press the issue. I was woke up by my upstairs neighbors at 4 am two out of the three days I stayed.
RESTAURANT/BAR: The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and helpful (Marisa was a standout), but the restaurant had a very limited selection of dinner items. Also, the bartender wanted to close the bar just after halftime of the College Football Championship game. I was disappointing that breakfast was not complimentary even for platinum members. 10 dollars is too pricey for a breakfast buffet that is similar to the complimentary breakfasts at other hotels.
The ROOM: Average internet speeds. Neither fast nor slow. Good selection of Television channels. The beds were VERY comfortable (Among the most comfortable hotel beds I have had the pleasure to sleep on), but the carpet in my room was downright DISGUSTING! (I am so glad I travel with house shoes.) The furniture also needed to be reupholstered, as the vinyl was worn through the lounge chair.

After spending fifteen minutes writing a previous review (which was rejected because I mentioned I would like switch to another loyalty program because IHG's top-tier status doesn't offer much), I'm only hitting a few points in the re-do.
Chloe and Marina are the only reasons to hit the bar or restaurant. These two really understand customer service, and Chloe should be the replacement for the inept Food and Beverage Manager.
The food and beverage issues have not changed in the months between visits.
The rooms are nice, beds are great.
Next time, I won't waste my time writing a review.
