Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Location We picked up our new motorcycles and were riding back from Ajax to Ottawa. We decided to stop in Kingston for the night and eat out. The Hotel was excellent and found us a King Size bed and a nice room. They helped us find a restaurant that served excellent sea food as that was what we wanted. There is shopping and much to see within walking distances. The rooms were clean and well appointed. April 16, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff were excellent We only stayed one night but our room was delightful. It overlooked the bay in Kingston and had a lovely balcony. The balcony chairs were dirty and my husband called down to front desk to see if we could have them cleaned. Housekeeping came up right away to take care of this. Beds were very comfortable and the noise level in the halls was minimal during the night. April 15, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed, again. This was a complimentary stay as a result of a disappointing one at the end of September. This property was one of my favourite in Kingston between the years of 2001 and 2005. I was looking forward to returning with my husband as I introduced him to a city that is dear to me. In the fall, the hot tub was closed, the exercise equipment was not up to date, and the pool was dirty. We had a person accidentally clean our room before we had checked out, and when we returned to our room for a nap before a long drive home, she was visibly (and verbally) upset. We wrote management and were offered a return visit so that they could show us better. Unfortunately, this past weekend when my husband returned, the pool was in a similar state, there was even a bandaid in it. Trying to be understanding, he reported this to the staff at the front who said "thanks, I'll let someone know". There was no apology. We choose our hotels with pools intentionally. We pay more for them as it is an important part of the hotel experience for us. We expect them to be swimable. We also expect to feel "at home", not like an intrusion even we return to our room for a nap. Although we keep our rooms fairly tidy, until we have checked out, we consider the room ours. We really hope that the Holiday Inn brand can help turn this hotel around, or might consider thanking their name off of this location. Good luck in the future. We will not be back. April 9, 2015

Beds very comfortable with lovely fresh linens and great pillows.TV great. Heat control perfect. Overall a great stay wish we had had a longer stay in order to enjoy hot tub and pool. April 7, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by fair service but friendly staff dated rooms, smelly hallways and given wrong bill...the rooms were ok but not as nice as comparables...cig smoke in the hall ways and staff tried to fix but it occured numerous times.... April 7, 2015
