We came to holiday Inn Lansdale for a wedding on Sept 20th 2014. We came a day early to relax. There was construction right out side our window room 136. The digging and banging was non stop until 8 pm. Fri. Sat morning it started again at 6:15 am. By the time we left for the wedding at 6 pm we all had headaches. Sunday we thought we would be able to sleep but it started again in Sunday morning at 7 am. I am sure they new when we checked in the construction was going on and loud.
They could of given us a room in the front. As it was they did not even put us on the floor with all the other guest for the wedding that was blocked off. When I asked they said. They did not know what rooms everyone was in. Sure that was not true. They all arrived on Sat. On Sat when we asked for another room they said the were booked solid for sat night . T So instead of having a wonderful weekend we had a very stressful and exhausting weekend. With no sleep what so ever.
Signed a very unhappy guest

Very, very quiet. Bed was super comfortable. Location was good and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Upon check-in, we walked up the stairs to our room; there were old cigarette butts crushed into the carpet, and when we got to our room we found hairs in the sheets.
Highway construction started at 6:00 am Saturday morning, and it was so loud that sleep was impossible. When we discussed options with the front desk staff, we were told that "It's not under our control; there's nothing we can do." Future guests should be aware that highway construction (30 feet from your bedroom window) will make sleeping at this hotel impossible for at least the next few weeks.
The breakfast buffet is also a complete waste of money - go anywhere else to eat. Eggs were cold and soupy, oatmeal was a solid mass, and there weren't many other options.
