Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bugs All was going well until a huge bug that looked like an engorged Tick crawled down the curtains and a rather large spider was spotted in the sink. This made it difficult to relax and sleep not knowing if there were going to be any more unwanted visitors. A photo of the tickl ike creature has been added for your viewing plasure. March 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely! The room had up-to-date furnishings, colors, and decorations. The ambience was perfect, and contributed to a very comfortable night's sleep. February 28, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Clean Room While the room is very comfortable and clean and very spacious it is hard to find an outlet not near the desk. i like to work in bed watching TV and it is hard to find an outlet to charge the phone or laptop. Also, the rooms are equipped with a motion detector that turns the A/C off after 2 hours. This is a great "green" item during the day but at night if you like the fan on all night while you are sleeping or just want the temperature to remain the same, it's a problem. After 2 hours asleep, the unit turns off and does not recognize you turning over in bed. Breakfast buffet is very nice with hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and freash fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and good coffee. February 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by General Not the most friendly staff compaired to other Holiday Inns. No recognition of Priority Member. Billing procedure seems confusing to front desk staff. The past 2 stays I have had to settle for a smoking and handicap room though reservations and late arrival were were made in advance. Priority points don't seem to make to my account. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Manager was uncompassionate and disrespectful on the night of New Years Eve. I have been staying here every weekend for the past 3 months because of my career. If this wasnt the only location close to my destination, I would refuse to continue my stays here because of the treatment I got from the manager on duty. I purchased and paid for a room at 930pm on 12/31/2012. At 10pm, I received a call that my father was being rushed to the hospital due to a major heart attack. I then informed the management of the situation and asked if I could get reinbursed for the night because I would not need the room due to a family emergency and that I had to leave right away to drive 2 hours back home. I was told that he would refund any charges and that I had the room for 30 minutes and that was enough time to charge me full price and if I had any issues with it, I was to call the reservation number. Obviously, this management team does not care about their regular customers and only focuses on the money they bring in for the rooms. Other than the poor treatment from the manager, the rooms are great and well maintained. January 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2 day business trip I've actually stayed at the Lansdale facility twice, the first was a three day stay which began the day Hurricane Sandy left the area. That stay had some inconvienences associated with it which were all a result of the hurricane issues, nevertheless under the circumstances the staff at Lansdale did all they could to accomodate their customers. Spent another two days there the last week of 2012, two others were along with me so we had three rooms. All three of us found our rooms and the facility to be just fine, rooms were clean and equipment functioned as one would expect. Did not experience the dining as our business hours away from the hotel didn't coincide with their hours. We will be visiting the area more frequently throughout 2013 and will reside at the Holiday Inn January 3, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DISAPPOINTED! Some one has spent a lot money trying to update and modernize this place, but is still an old building. Like one of my coworkers that was also staying there put it, "It's like putting lipstick on a pig". First thing I noticed after checking in was a very nice lobby. Then you walk down a short hall, through some double doors, and guess what? You have to carry your luggage down a flight of stairs so you can get to the elevator to go up to you room. Why in the heck didn't they put a ramp there instead, it sure would have been a lot easier for a old geaser like myself to roll my bags down. Then when I got to my room the next thing I noticed was the lack of sound proofing in the walls, it sounded like the TV was turned on in my room, when it was really in the room next to me. There is also a serious lack of electrical outlets. They put this fancy metal sculptured lamp on the desk with 2 outlets in it, but don't try and plug anything with a power supply attached like a cell phone charger or a iPad adapter in, it interferes with the structure of the lamp and won't plug in. The plumbing is also noisy, you know it when the person in the room above you flushes the toilet. I have to admit, the hotel was clean, but the dark carpets, dark drapes, dark colored furniture, etc. just made it seem dingy and depressing. I really thought Holiday Inn had higher standards than this. December 19, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rude Desk Clerk The desk clerk, Aaron, was very rude. I wasn't recognized as a Priority Club Member. It seemed like he didn't know how to get to the rooms without going down the stairs. He didn't know he had a map. The maps are very small and he did not know where the lobby was on it. He was very, very rude. I asked to see a manager but was denied. The desk clerk even processed a bogus charge to my credit card. In the morning, Darryl was very nice and removed the charge. The server at breakfast was very nice also. I have never encountered such a rude desk clerk at a Holiday Inn. December 6, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by recent stay Good front desk customer service. I left my iphone charger in the room last time i stayed there and although the front desk looked, they said housekeeping keeps track of those items found in rooms. If you found this from my last stay in Aug, I would love to have it back. Rich November 19, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissatisfied When we came to the hotel the staff was knowledgable & helpful. My wife & i came to an excellent room . The next day we ordered breakfast in the room & it was delivered by a wonderful waitress. While having breakfast my wife jumped due to a sizable bug that came out of the couch. The person who came to the room when we complained said their was a nest of these bugs outside the hotel. i noticed them on the walls of the hotel outside. The next day we requested complimentary coffee given by the hotel & the cleaning service said we didn't need it that she saw it in our draw.We were appalled by the fact that our draws were gone thru. Also the rug wasn't cleaned..dirt & food was still on it. We were visited by another bug the next day & the management gave us only 1 breakfast voucher (not even 2 since we are husband & wife). The service in the restaurant was excellent. Its a shame that we don't intend to returned to this hotel because there were some good aspects. November 9, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good place to crash I stayed at this location after my HS reunion. The room was clean and comfortable. I only have a couple of complaints. First, the call center that you're transferred to to make your reservation told me that all the rooms that had been blocked for the reunion were booked. However, when I checked in, the clerk said that none of the rooms were booked, yet I still paid regular price instead of the group discount. Second, I couldn't use the luggage cart because my room was down a small flight of stairs. Overall, the room was just fine for my purposes and I was glad to have a place to crash after 5 hours of drinking. November 2, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK - Elevator problems Our visit at this Holiday Inn at Kulpsville was fair - good. Our biggest concern was the elevator. On occasion the elevator doors opened intermittently that necessitated a call for service. The problem was quickly addressed, but elevator problems continued throughout the two days we were there. Not a good scenario for seniors who might find steps between 4 floors difficult to navigate. Coffee throughout the day was delightful. This HI is easy to access, especially off the turnpike. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort and Convenience For our stay, the hotel was comfortable, clean and convenient. The hotel staff were extremely accomodating and helpful. Your cleaning staff is top knotch and their friendly and agreeable demeanor was fantastic. They really enjoyed having the dogs stay at the hotel! The food and in-house restaurant....well. The nicest thing I can say is that it was priced reasonably. The service was abysmal, and the food, in a word...terrible. Meals were overcooked, undercooked, dried out and tasteless. When asked to correct an order, it took far too long and they never really got it right. I felt like we were on a realty show where we were customers at a restaurant run by people who had no experience. From the wait staff to the kitchen, nothing went well. I would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again, I would just allow myself enough time to eat elsewhere. October 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hotel experience I enjoyed my stay at the Lansdale Holiday Inn. The room was clean and confortable. the staff was helpful. We enjoyed the entertainment that was provided in the bar area and the Buffet on Sunday morning was exceptional. If I have to go back to the Lansdale area I would make the Hotel a must stay.
