The standard is five star but it is the friendly and very helpful staff that makes a stay here outstanding. I thoroughly recommend Holiday Inn Salmiya to everyone.. June 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Main Restaurant Very negative experience with the main restaurant during breakfast. sometimes i went to have my breakfast 20 min before their closing time and i always found nothing!! they publish the closing time but they don't respect because they want to finish early and collect the food and drinks. I had to ask the restaurant manager 2 or 3 times to refill the nuts jar as it was always empty. unprofessional restaurant staff.. June 14, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent for Business Use Extremely comfortable stay. We didn't really have the time to step out of the hotel as our business meetings were within the hotel itself. It is fairly self contained and very lively with lot of restaurant options. The amenities (pool and gym) are also pretty good. Due to the flight timings, I had a problem with sleeping but not necessarily a reflection on the quality of the beds or mattress. Service was prompt and efficient in most cases and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The one thing I found discomforting is that since smoking is allowed in the lobby area which is air conditioned, there is a lingering smell of smoke throughout. June 5, 2015
